For most people, living with your best friend was the most amazing thing in the world. Rey Johnson was most people.

But it wasn't where she was living, or who she was living with, that had her constantly wallowing in her own self pity. It was the fact that he was only her best friend and nothing more.

The pairing of Ben and Rey, Solo and Johnson, the devil and his angel, the moon and the sun, or whatever other nicknames had been doted upon them, had existed for 16 years.

And don't get me wrong - they had been the best 16 years of Rey's life, but she wanted more. She had been hopelessly in love with Ben Solo for 7 of those 16 years, and he had been hopelessly oblivious for 7 out of those 16 years.

So when her other best friend, Finn Storm, came to her with a sourced article that was over 60 years old on how to 'get a husband', how could she turn it away?

Guess who's back?

Not me writing a whole new story, in a whole new fandom, completely abandoning the ones I have already started? Could never be me

Not me writing a whole new story, in a whole new fandom, completely abandoning the ones I have already started? Could never be me.

Anyways, I promised I'd write SOMETHING during quarantine, so why not a short story based off of a ridiculous twitter prompt that I fell in love with?

Anyways, enjoy my loves,
