A tale of a man
Captures his spirit
Defines his whole life
And holds his heart in the palm of the reader...
With that in mind, imagine a tale in which
One man battled his darkness
Caused not by a woman who left him behind
But by the one who chose not to put her trust in his hand.
That moment in time crushed his restless spirit
And broke his heart into pieces
It left him bare to the bone
And too raw in his pain.
He left, he fled, he chose not to look back
And realized that the pain
She had caused him
Helped to rebuild and heal him from deep within.
He came back, returned, walked back
On the hard road ahead
And showed everyone that forgiveness - not fury
Mends more broken bridges than revenge ever could.
He battled haters, nay-sayers
Along with hearts that turned ice cold
And reignited the love
That kept fighting to breathe again...
Their love conquered life's battles
With the strength of joined hands
And in the end he loved his beloved more
Than he believed he ever could....
