Which part of a man's broken soul
Means the most to him?
Matters the most to him?

                          
Is it the deepest part of his soul, 
Known only to him?
Visible only to him?

                          
Is it the part that was offered to another
In a belief that the beloved will hold it dear to her own soul?
With the hope that her love will save this part from shattering into a million pieces?

                          
Or is it the seam that the man begins to stitch 
Those broken pieces by himself, all on his own?
Fully aware that to heal he has to mend it whole himself?
