Beyond the shores of the magnificent Bosphorus
Beyond each pebble that glistens in its water
Lies the land of my hopes,
My dreams,
My love...
Beyond the stars that shine above the majestic Istanbul,
Beyond the light that pours down from up above
Lies the path of the chosen,
Of my fate,
Of my life...
Beyond the dusk of the darkest of nights,
Shines the light of those stars gleaming in the water
Making me realize that wherever fate guides my steps,
The same stars shine in the land of my dreams...
