As school ended Nekomaru eventually met up with Teruteru. His eyes still seemed puffy from his breakdown but Nekomaru didnt comment on it, There was no need to. Nekomaru realized how long he had stared at Teruteru, its like he was stuck on his face. Something about it was so calming. His eyes, the way he just stared at people something about it was so cute. He was tempted to lean down and hug him and ki-
"Hey! are we gonna go or something?" Nekomaru was caught off guard by how he spoke up all of a sudden, "oh..of course!" He replied energetically. Teruteru smiled and The urges Nekomaru had grew stronger. Godamn it Teruteru why do you have to be so cute? "Lead the way!!" Teruteru said with the same energy Nekomaru had. Nekomaru began walking and Teruteru wasnt far behind.
Once they had gotten there it got silent. Teruteru kept gazing at his phone but that was expected. but then Teruteru began to talk,
"y'know this is a nice place..." He said his voice kinda quiet. "yeah!! its cool!" Nekomaru replied. then the waiter showed up.
"hello! what would you like?" The waiter smiled gazing at Nekomaru. "oh, i'd just like a protein shake!!" He smiled. "and what would your son want?" She asked staring at Teruteru as he bursted into laughter. "u h thats my friend, not my son.." Nekomaru said chuckling The waiter looked embarrassed "oh, im so sorry!!" She said
Teruteru kept wheezing "i'll have a coffee!" he said before bursting into laugher. The waiter walked off. Once Teruteru stopped laughing he stared at Nekomaru. Butterflies came into Teruteru's stomach as he gazed into Nekomaru's eyes. They were so pretty. He felt as if his heart was beating out of his chest. Then it hit him.
He loved Nekomaru. He couldn't process that at first. This was Nekomaru of all people. How would he explain this? but his thoughts were cut off when the waiter came back "here you guys go!" she smiled giving them their drinks. Teruteru began to drink his and Nekomaru began CHUGGING his protein shake.
Once they finished they left "Hey, that was fun! do you wanna go out again sometime?" Nekomaru asked as Teruteru nodded. Maybe this crush wasnt so bad after all.
