Ericka Gilbert Returns

Now that it has been about a month since the Prank night incident, I am starting the work on the Old Witch's house today as that will be my base of operations for everything going forward. Now I have a check list to go through now that I've had some time. 

1.)Renovate the Old Witches House 

2.)Find out more about Mikael and why Rebecca seemed so concerned when finding out about Damon's threat

3.)Come up with a Plan B for when this plan blows up in everyone's face

4.)Find out why I feel such a bond with Klaus and Rebecca 

I walked into what would soon be my home and went down to the basement. I set up a ritual circle and called upon the witches. 

"Qui prius invocabo. Peto, ut aliquem fructum et veniet auxilium mihi. Vel ad designandum aliquem responsa opus est in viam rectam, ut dicitur invenire responsa. " I chanted

I call upon those who came before. I ask that someone come forth and help me. I need answers or someone to point me on the correct path to find said answers.

Finally someone stepped forth in a long dress from the 10th century.

"My name is Ayana. I am a Bennett witch from the 10th century. I can give you some insight into what you are seeking but I warn you fighting Mikael comes with a lot of risk for you." Ayana said before touching my hand so I could get a feel for who she was

Ayana was a powerful witch and descendant of Qetsiyah, the creator of the first immortality spell. She was also the best friend and mentor of Esther Mikaelson, with whom she moved to the New World in the late 10th century, along with the rest of Esther's family. She had warned Esther of the cost of using such magic and going against Mother Earth but she refused her council and was enraged upon Ayana's refusal to help Esther to do such a spell. 

"Mikael is a monster. For a 1000 years he has hunted his children and abused them when they were still human. He was a monster while he was human and a monster to this day. In the 90's Abigail sacrificed her powers to desiccate and entomb Mikael when he came to Mystic Falls searching for baby Elena." Ayana said 

"Is it possible for the effects to be reversed?" I asked 

"Yes. All it takes is for someone to give him some blood. The problem falls to Mikael. Mikael is a vampire who hunts vampires. Each of the original vampires are cursed in a way thanks to Esther. Esther doing the spell cursed the family. Each fault that they had as humans is now amplified by 1000. Mikael was proud and hated weakness. Klaus hates feeling abandoned. Elijah while noble cannot stop the guilt he has feels for helping turn his brother into what he is. Rebekah is desperate for love and acceptance. Kol was the perfect viking in theory but always left out and treated differently for being what Mikael called the rebellious but perfect viking son but he wants to feel accepted for who he is and be included in the family. Finn curses his continued existence. Esther started this with a spell and cursed the Mikaelson family. She used Mikael as her sword. You can fix the family and stop this curse. You, my girl, were born for greatness. Your destiny will be hard won but in the end you shall have your happiness." Ayana said beginning to fade the more tired I became from using my magic

"How do I stop Mikael?" I asked slurring my words slightly

"White oak stake is used to stop them. To make it even stronger soak it in vervain and wolfsbane under the full moon. This should make it work against hybrids as well. Both of the plants and wood grow in Mystic Falls. Now rest child. We have talked for too long." Ayana said before I blacked out

Sheila POV

I was watching over Bonnie as she was reading over the next spell and potion I would be teaching her when I heard the whispers. I must have zoned out for a minute because I was now sitting down and Bonnie was by my side. 

"Grams, what happened? Are you okay?" Bonnie asked 

"Ericka... Ericka is in trouble. Bonnie stay here I will be back. Keep studying." I said rushing out the door 

I drove to the old house and I could see it was under construction. The workers acted like they couldn't see me but the foreman came over and showed me where Ericka was last headed.  I found Ericka convulsing on the floor of the basement. She was so pale and I could tell she had over done it with her magic. I muttered a spell and the convulsing stopped and then I saw the dark marks under her eyes and I noticed that one of the spirits attempted to possess Ericka. Exhausted Ericka is still powerful so there was a battle which Ericka barely won. I heard a whoosh and Damon came in. 

"What happened?" Damon asked 

"Not now we need to get Ericka out of here. Whatever did this damage is still trying to get a hold of her." I said 

Damon lifted Ericka and we hurried up and left. Once Ericka was at home in bed I had to explain to Damon my suspicions. 

"A vicious spirit tried to steal Ericka's magic and when that failed it attempted a full on possession which again failed. The spirit pushed so hard that it attempted to kill Ericka." Sheila said 
Ericka woke up on the Other Side surrounded by her mentors.
"What happened?" She asked but she noticed that her mentors were looking rushed
"No time. Be careful of the Original Witch. Her problems will lead you to the first tragic tale that began this horrid ordeal. She shall lead you to many problems that you will face. You must always train. Never let your guard down. There is no such thing as knowing too much or training too much. The Original Witch tried to take you over because you are stronger than the young Bennett witch. Be careful, my witchling. Beware." My mentors said
