the girl i saw in the mirror,
she wasn't me.
her eyes were tired and lifeless
her usual golden-caramel skin was replaced with a dull, washed-out hue
her legs barely holding up her frame, her soul sucked out of her body
her stomach, hollow and grumbling, longing for food but her brain was too numb for her to eat
the girl i saw in the mirror,
she wasn't me.
