"S-Song Mingi!!!!!!"

A loud laughter could be heard throughout the school corridor as a boy sprints his way along it. A girl chasing behind with a broom in hand, she didn't look happy.

Song Mingi, the school's troublemaker. He liked playing jokes on people, especially girls. His actions earned many thoughts of disapproval but he didn't really care. Even the teachers were helpless around him.

If you're wondering what he did this time, well, he placed a fake snake in one of the girl's bag. And *coughs* the girl isn't happy.

He didn't have a particular reason in doing these pranks, he just purely enjoys it. He liked seeing people freak out.

The teachers can't really do anything about him. Well you see, his grades are top-notch.. He's basically a walking Google with all the knowledge piling up in his weird ass brain.

To top it off, he's handsome, like really handsome, which is the reason why girls liked hanging around him, even though he's problematic.

"I'm going to report it to the teachers!" The girl shouted as he watched Mingi's figure running off. Mingi turned and poked his tongue out, not really threatened by it.

Mingi continued sprinting his way along the corridor, tickling and fooling around with some other students before heading to the cafeteria.

When he was about the make a turn, he bumped into someone who was slightly taller than him. That guy didn't budge an inch with the harsh impact, in fact, Mingi was the one who fell onto the ground.

"Arghhh..." Mingi rubbed his head that had just hit the floor and looked up.

"Yunho! " Mingi quickly got up from the ground and rubbed his neck.

"The teacher asked to see you." Yunho's cold tone never fails to send shivers down his spine.

"Ahh okay! Thank you!"  Mingi sung out and took off again, shooting a bright smile at Yunho's direction.

Yunho shook his head fondly and walked towards the teachers office.

Actually, he was called to the teachers office too.

"Yunho-ah.. I know you and Mingi are best friends.. But as an officer, can you please control him?" Mr. Eden pleaded. He had just received another complain about Mingi and his head hurts with the amount of trouble that his student had caused him.

Yunho took a deep breath and sighed,"I'll try."

He didn't really have a choice now does he? Even the teachers are begging him now. So he has to do it.

"Thank you.. I'll treat you to some food!" Mr. Eden exclaimed with joy.

Yunho shook his head and bowed politely, he then turned on his heels and walked away.

Mr. Eden watched Yunho walk away with gratitude. Finally, he can have some peace.

You see, Yunho is an officer in their school. It's sorta like a prefect, but it's higher in rank. They basically maintain the school's safety and discipline the students.

Officers are highly respected in the school, even teachers were scared to talk back. An officer has a different blazer as other students. Normal students wear blazers which are grey and black coloured while officers wears maroon, so that students can easily differentiate them.

They have to go through various training to be an officer and Yunho was one of the lucky ones that passed. Mainly because of his athletic reflexes and disciplined mindset.

0h and also, we all know that Mingi's a genius in his studies, but Yunho always ranks first, Mingi following second. But none of the boys cared to fight for first place just because Mingi wasn't interested in studying and Yunho being the lucky boy was just casually scoring everything.

They've known each other for years now, and Yunho always lets Mingi off with his pranks. But now, teachers were begging him to control the younger, so he had to do so.

"Mingi." Yunho was on his way back to class when he noticed Mingi crouching at the doorway.

"Ah! Yunho-ah! Come look at this!" Mingi shot up and pulled Yunho towards him. He points at a particular direction and a girl could be seen walking to the cafeteria.

In a matter of seconds, a loud scream erupted from the girl and she ran off.

Yunho furrowed his brows and looked at Mingi, waiting for an explanation.

"Ahahahahahaha, I placed a frog there! Did you see how she was screaming?!" Mingi was laughing out his lungs at the scene.

Yunho's lips twitched and he pulled Mingi up from his position. He then grabbed Mingi's arm and walked towards the girl who was now close to crying.

"Wh- Yunho?" Mingi didn't get to finish his sentence as Yunho pressed his head down.

"Apologise." Yunho's cold tone made Mingi stopped on his tracks.

The girl looked at both of them in shock and tried to comprehend what was going on.

"What? No!!" Mingi tried to fight but was only pressed back down.

"Min." Mingi could sense the dark aura radiating off the officer.

He gulped and pouted slightly, "Fine.. M'sorry."

The girl let out a few awkward laugh, "I-its fine.. I'll be off now.." And took off running.

Mingi groaned and slapped Yunho's arm away from his head, "What was that for?!"

"Stop causing trouble." Yunho ended and walked off. Not giving another look at Mingi.

"Huh?" Mingi let out a confused sound and see Yunho off.

'That's weird.. Why did he suddenly butt in?'  Mingi shook his head as he walked back to class.

He opened the door and skipped his way back onto his seat, humming a tune.

"Song. Min. gi." The girl with the fake snake appeared behind Mingi.

"Oh shit!" Mingi let out a scream and ran out of the classroom, the girl still chasing behind.

His eyes sparkled when he saw Yunho walking towards them, probably taking a stroll, his maroon blazer instantly catching everyone's eyes.

"Y-Yunho!" Mingi quickly ran towards Yunho and hid behind his back. He felt relieved as if Yunho was his hero.

The girl stopped on her tracks instantly once she saw Yunho and blushed.

"What did he do?" Yunho's low tone sent shivers of vibration along the corridor and the students around shrugged.

"H-he placed a fake snake in my bag.." The girl blushed deeper as she realized that Yunho was directing his words towards her.

Yunho furrowed his brows and looked at his friend who was hiding behind him. With Mingi shamelessly giving him puppy eyes, he couldn't help but give in.

Yunho sighed deeply and pulled Mingi out from his back and bowed slightly, "I apologise for his childish actions. I'll keep an eye on him from now on."

"A-Ah yes, please do.. T-Thank you.." The girl stuttered, she shot Mingi a glare and ran off in an instant.

Mingi poked his tongue out childishly until his head was suddenly pressed down once again, and he could feel the grip tightened.

"OW OW OW OW! IT HURTS!" Mingi struggled in hopes to loosen the grip but it didn't work.

Yunho chuckled and released the grip, "I said don't cause anymore trouble."

"Why are you suddenly caring so much? I thought you didn't mind when I did it before." Mingi whined.

"You caused too much trouble for the teachers." Yunho finished and pulled Mingi back to class. He sat Mingi down on his seat and sent the younger a final warning glare before leaving.

The students watched the scene fold out, couldn't believe that the Song Mingi was being manhandled by The Jeong Yunho.
