Shadow That Hunt Me

A taste of love was all I enjoyed,
Until it became a nightmare,
a full tang of hurt and agony.

Her savour beauty
was the icon I exultantly brandished to all.

The fragrance that shed from her  dermis,
was what I sniffed in glorious admiration.

If only this anguish can be brought to an end,
wouldn't this peril be over?

Everyone I banished,
casted away for a love wrapped around my neck.

I am sunk into pain,
torment I cannot endure,
Who to help me?
Who to shoulder my burden?
