they wanted to ask, honestly. but it could have been a personal family issue and they didn't want to ask until you were able to tell them. 😌

but then you were very tense and they decided to ask. "uh... y/n, what's wrong?"

"nothing." you pursed your lips 👄 and began typing furiously on your phone while u were still very tense. suspiciously tense...

your friend snatched the phone out of your hands and began to run out of the classroom you were in and down the hall.

they noticed the messages were from a bunch of MALES 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♂️ so they reasonably freaked out.

all of the messages were praising your looks (which ur friend hAD to agree w bc dAYYM URE CUTE) with loads of heart emojis.

the title of the chatroom was 'kenma's friends' and your friend was sTUNNED bc u were only friends with them 😀😀.

someone by the name of kuroo saved a picture hinata sent, which was obviously a screenshot of a video call.

"gIVE THAT BACK!" you began chasing your friend down the hall so they panicked and turned off your phone whICH LITERALLY NOT EVEN A SECOND LATER began blowing up with notifications from the group chat.

your friend tHREW THE PHONE at you it was like 💃 📱💨 🕺

anyway your friend gasped in relief when you caught it, but them throwing it didn't even register in your head as you logged into your phone and began to walk back to your class.

your friend gave you a puzzled look and followed you back slowly, they SLyly looked over your shoulder and at all the messages that were like

"did she leave bc we were freaking her out?"

"but we were complimenting her???!"

"Y/N COME BACK 😔😔😔😔"

your friend looked at your thumbs as they typed quick apologies and you sent it without even checking for typos.

your friend blew on your neck and you went

you sort of ignored your friend bc u were peeved at them for taking your phone while you were in the middle of stopping kuroo and kenma from complimenting you. 👍

it made you uncomfortable to say the most 🤠.
