Sabrina took a step towards her, "Are you okay? You look exhausted."
"I'm fine, I just need-" She sighs, "Can I speak to you alone?"
Hilda stood up, "Darling, please sit. We're here to help you."
Jophiel shot a look to Sabrina, 'they know?'
She nods, gesturing her to sit down at the table. Ambrose shoved a cup of tea towards her, smiling as she took it.
"What happened, Joph?"
"My brothers," She shuffled in her seat, trying to keep her mind off the fact she wanted to bawl her eyes out.
"Lucifer?" Zelda asked.
She shook her head, "Gabriel. I assume Raphael and Michael are a part of it too."
"What did they do?"
"Gabriel asked me to meet him at home. With my mother," She swallows deeply, "She thinks I'm a monster."
"She does not," Sabrina spoke up.
"If you seen the way she looked at me. She was scared of me."
Hilda places a hand on Jophiel's shoulder, "It's going to take her time, love."
"How can I possibly be Queen if I cannot trust myself to stay loyal to Hell?"
"You can do it, I know you can. Try your best to ignore them, have you talked to my father about this yet?"
"No, no. Not yet."
"He planned on having a feast with the witches and the hoards of Hell tomorrow night."
"But-Not everyone knows I am an archangel?"
"You think Lucifer worries about that type thing?" Zelda smiles, "Jophiel, he thinks the world of you."
Her heart fluttered in her chest, Zelda was right. Lucifer did care for Jophiel, but then her mind began racing again. There was something actually wrong in her mind, ever since she'd met with Gabriel it felt as if she couldn't think straight.
She knew Heaven was to blame, whether her Father was apart of it was a different story. She knew how they all felt about Lucifer, seeing it had only been a short time since she'd fallen. Lucifer was the enemy.
"I need to talk to him then," Jophiel sighed, "He needs to know about our brother's at-least."
"Then go," Sabrina placed on a hand on Jophiel's shoulder, rubbing small circles, "I will be there later to see you, okay?"
She only nodded, and Sabrina snapped her fingers. When she looked around the room, the lamp she'd thrown was still shattered on the ground. Her heart felt like it shattered and landed in the pit of her stomach.
Jophiel made her way to the door, turning the knob oddly at the same time as Lucifer. He was shocked to see her up out of the bed and roaming around.
"Angel, what are you-"
"Looking for you," She cut him off, "Please just sit down with me?"
The look on his face shifted into worry, his brow threaded into concern. He gestured for her to take a seat back on the bed, "Of course. Are you okay?"
"Yeah," her voice cracked only slightly, "Luce, I-, we haven't talked. Not like we used to." She paused again, looking for the right words, "There are things I need to tell you. It seemed like this was all so fast, it's dramatic. I just want a second with you."
"Angel, you could always ask to talk." He sat beside her, "I'd stop the world for you."
She smiled at that, he was being very sincere, "I missed you, Lucifer. For so so long," adding emphasis on the second so, "Things in Heaven changed when you were gone. You knew about majority of it when I was younger, like actually younger."
"After my fall, we would meet-?"
"No, after that. You stopped coming around-, old testament was over and it was time for new testament. Birth of Jesus, you were so worried about the down-fall of Christ that we never really spoke after that. Not until I came to Greendale, and then you weren't around up until now."
"Biblically, I had no control over that. Father wouldn't allow me anywhere around you, our brother's warded you off. You were important to advancements in Heaven, not like Raphael who was moving waters, or Gabriel who told Mary of the babe, or Michael who was leading the armies. You were nowhere to be found." He stopped, "Then when you came to Greendale, I didn't know. Not until I'd heard Sabrina mention your name."
"Sabrina mentioned me? How'd you know it was actually me?"
"The story." He smiled and mocked Sabrina, "My best-friend is religious, insanely religious."
They both laugh for a second but Lucifer continues, "It's not everyday a young girl named Jophiel comes to Greendale."
"So you knew it was me even though I was still warded?" He only nodded, "How long have I actually been warded from you?"
"I knew you were in Heaven," Lucifer sighed, "The few times you'd came to earth, you were accused of witchcraft--my demons had told me of that. They said that you "were too much like a Morningstar" to be an average human or be an angel."
"They knew of that?"
"Of course, it was your pride my angel." He smiled, "Too proud of your knowledge of everything spiritual. Everyone believed you were just me in an opposing gender vessel."
"I guess that was my teacher's fault," She chuckled, "Father never let me leave after that. I stayed in Heaven from then on until he sent me on a mission here."
"What was the mission?"
"You and your witches."
He smiles, "I am just happy I found you."
"That's what I wanted to talk to you about."
He raised his brow again, "Oh?"
"Yeah," She looked up at him, "Gabriel keeps-he keeps getting in my head. He's trying to get me to come home and apologize to our Father, he's done something to make me believe it is the right thing."
His face shifted into anger, which she had seen when she was younger. He wasn't speaking, but he was trying to stay calm enough.
"Luce?" She mumbled, "Are you okay?"
"What are you going to do?" He was short, his words were harshly cut off
"I am not going to leave," She smiled weakly, "I don't want to leave you, I just need your help."
She was happy to see his expressions shifted, he looked comforted.
