Into the Light [Completed]

Chapter 14

There in front of them, were Mevia and Harper. The two women were beaten and bruised, covered in blood and an unknown liquid. They had been stripped of their clothing, revealing their painfully swollen, red breasts. Soren and Isa's jaws dropped while the others, except Ivor, just froze. Ivor, however, he was furious. He tucked his smog potion back into his inventory. He then made his way over to his wife. He took Harper in his arms in a very tight hug. He leaned in towards her ear and whispered,

"What did he do to you?"

Harper did not respond. Her response was, instead, sobbing. She wrapped her arms around him and buried her head in the crook of his neck. She didn't say anything, she jus sobbed. Ivor hushed her while gently patting her back.

"It's okay. I'm here," Ivor said softly, trying to disguise his boiling anger.

Harper stopped sobbing and just held him. She thought she would never get to see her loving husband again. She didn't say anything. She only held him for the moment.

"I love you, poppy," Harper muttered.

Ivor smiled, "I love you too, hun."

Suddenly, the group heard someone walk into the cold, stone cell. A faint chuckling could be heard from behind them. Harper and Mevia's eyes widened in fear. The two women trembled as the two people shut the cell door behind them . Soren turned around to see Hadrian and Cassie standing behind the group.

"Well, what do we have here?" Hadrian asked mockingly.

Cassie giggled, "I think we have a group of people that thinks they can sneak around our base unnoticed."

"Pathetic," Hadrian scoffed.

Soren let out a loud growl at this, "What do you want from them Hadrian?"

"I want my, or excuse me, OUR REVENGE!" Hadrian scowled, "Harper and Otto were traitors from the start, and Mevia became soft. When we planned to attack the New Order of the Stone, she aborted the mission and told them our plans."

"Serves you right!" Magnus exclaimed.

Gabriel nodded and readied his sword, "You caused them so much pain and suffering. It's about time you got a taste of your own medicine. And if that means we have to fight for their freedom, you better be ready for us to mop the floor with you bastards."

With that, everyone stood at Soren's side with their weapons/ potions at the ready. The group's eyes blazing with fury, anger and hatred. Isa's stare especially sent shivers down Hadrian and Cassie's spines. They knew what they had done to her, and they knew she wanted vengeance for everyone they had hurt and abused over the past few years.

With that the fight began.

The New Order of the Stone had finished scouting out the outside of the mansion and had moved on yo the inside. They too found the basement and went down to explore. They heard a voice while traveling down the long corridors.

"Let go of me!" one of the voices yelled.

Another shushed him, "This won't hurt if you just cooperate with us."

"Yes, being made useful will not hurt as bad if you just cooperate," a robotic voice said.

"Like I would ever cooperate with you!" Please, I'd rather die." the first voice scowled.

The second voice chuckled, "Well, you better pray to Notch that we don't kill your precious little girlfriend and best friend."

"Leave Mevia and Harper out of this!" the first voice shouted at them.
