"You wouldn't mind giving me a tour of the school, would you?" Jenna asked with a lovely grin.
"Uh, sure. No problem. But you will be late for history."
"I don't really care, to be honest."
I giggled. "Okay. Then off we go!"
As we walked down the halls, I gave Jenna mini bios on all the rooms and their teachers. I told her if it was an easy class, or a hard class. I told her if it had alot of homework or not. But then, we walked past the library. Jenna looked through the large, oak doors, staring intently.
"Woah. You guys have a huge library."
"Yeah, well, this is where I go to avoid pep rallies and gym class. And I hide in the gym to avoid lectures and going to the library."
Jenna laughed, but it was the truth. I hide in the gym when I have to go to the library, and I hide in the library when I have to go to the gym. We walked down the hall past other boring classrooms and closets, still giving her all my mini bios. But finally, out tour had come to an end. We were in front of the Honors World History classroom.
"Thanks for the tour, Sam. It was fun."
I laughed. "I guess it was kinda fun, showing someone how I live at school."
"Well, you have a fun, funny, and cool way of living at school."
"Oh. Really? Thanks, I guess." I said with a smile.
And that is when it happened. Jenna leaned in and gave a little kiss on the cheek. It wasn't like a kiss you get from your grandma on Easter, but a loving friend kiss. I was so hypnotized by the kiss, that I didn't realied she was gone until minutes after. It was the best day of life. Because Jenna, my crush, gave me a kiss of the cheek.
