Hiking Trip

Will Pov

So later that day Percy was talking about going on this hiking trip up this moutain type thi g saying there was a "sick view" at the top it took a lot of convincing for Nico especially since he was on his period and didn't want too go no where

Buuuuut I bribed him with kisses and chocolate when we got back

So we all got ready and packed our bags with supplies

"So you really like Hiking?", Nico asked looking at me already done with his packing

"Yea when I was kid my parents would always take me and when I was older I went on my own" I said smiling at him

Nico smiled and came over and kissed me

"Maybe later we can sneak off from the group" he suggested I chuckled and smirked at him

"Sounds like fun" I said and leaned down and kissed him

"Alright love birds! You better be out of that room in 3 seconds or I will bust that door down" said Thalia

"We better go I have a feeling she really would" Nico said I laughed and grabbed our stuff and walked out the door

Everyone was waiting and soo we got in the car and Nico put in his traveling earbuds and leaned on me

Awww he is so cute I though to myself

10 minutes later we arrived and I had too wake a sleeping Nico

Which takes a lot I swear sometimes that boy sleeps like the dead (XD get it)

Percy took us where the trail begun and we started hiking

"So Percy whats waiting for us at the top?" Asked Piper

"Well its the view I swear it will feel like your on top of the world" Percy said all excited

I looked at the sky and noticed the clouds darken and their was a lot of them

"Guys I think its gonna storm" I pointed out

I noticed Nico tensed and looked at the sky warily

Annabeth looked up and saw what I was talking about "we can't continue up but we can't go back down if I'm looking at the correctly we have 5 minutes before it starts storming really bad we will get stuck in it and Won't be able too see" she said sounded worried

Percy looked around and spotted something "their! A cabin up their we can stay until its over "

We all nodded and started hiking up their it and its started raining Nico looked terrified so I grabbed his hand squeezing it gently

When qe got there Percy knocked on the door at first but no answer so he slowly opens it and yells "hello" but their was nothing but a echo

"I think its abandoned " he said and walks in

We all follow and he was right it looked like no one has been here for years

Leo ran off somewhere in it Hazel and Frank was cleaning up the main room so we all could sit in their Annabeth was looking at some of the stuff left behind Percy watched Annabeth Thalia looking around the cabin and Jason was watching the storm through the window and Piper was getting food from her bag and Bianca was helping her

Nico and I laid down our sleeping bags so we had a comfyish place too sit Nico still looked warily but not bad until

*BOOM CLASH*

Thunder and Lighting

Nico screamed and jumped in my lap clinging too me for dear life

I held onto him trying too calm him down Percy, Jason, Thalia, Bianca and Hazel looked at another worried

They knew what was going on

"Hey Nico why don't you come with me alright we can get food" asked Bianca pointing at Piper was getting the food out

Nico hesitated but nodded and grabbed his big sisters and and clinged too her like his life depended on it

"Whats going on with Nico" I asked them Percy sighs and looks Nico then back at me

"So My aunt maria, Nicos mom, was struck by lightning in front of Nico when they where playing in the rain and thats how she died and since then Nico has had a fear of lighting storms" he said

*BOOM CLASH*

I hear another scream followed by a crying sound of Nico saying "Bia make it stop"

My heart broke and I walk over their and wrap Nico in a big hug

Then bam the lights turn on in the cabin turn on and Leo walks in soaked

"I did it!" He says grinning he looks at Nico and smiles and Nico actually laughed and gkes too hug Leo

Thalia leans over "Leo always turned on ever light in the house when Nico stahed the night at his house whenever their was a storm it helped Nico calm down" she said

I smiled widley "thats sweet I'm glad Nico has a friend like him " I say we all sit down and eat something and-

*BOOM CLASH*

We all looked at Nico who just jumped but didnt scream this time

We realized the storm wasnt gonna end soon and we knew we had too stay the night everyone cuddled up too their partners Leo stayed close too Jason and Piper

Nico cuddled up too me closely and I kissed his forehead

*BOOM CLASH*

He jumps and whimpers

"Hey shh its okay Im here and I am never leaving" I whispered

Nico looks up at me

"Promise?" He asked and oh my gods those eyes could steal my soul

"I promise, I love you so much" I said too him

"I love you too" he smiled and cuddled close to me

*BOOM CLASH*

This time he didnt jump or make a noise he just cuddled close I held him tightly and started too sing the song his mom use too sing too him when he was little and he soon fell asleep

Thats when I knew how much I loved him
