AFTER ISABELLA DECIDED that the best thing to do right now is help the others find their parents instead of doing nothing but cry over her own— she went with stiles to the animal clinic after he explained to her everything that she missed
from agent mccall harrassing him with stupid questions again, to figuring out from lydia's drawings that the parents were being held at the nemeton
so now they were all huddled in the clinic, asking deaton for help on how to find the location and save their parents "It has to be on a telluric current, or maybe even at the axis of two or where they all intersected" stiles explained
"i just know it's where derek took paige to die" he huffed
allison stepped closer to the table fiddling with her fingers, visibly worried for her father as well "my dad and gerard were there once but gerard said it was years ago and he couldn't remember where it was"
"then how do we find this place?" isaac asks from behind them
as if on cue they all looked over to deaton for answers "there might be a way... but it's dangerous and we're gonna need scott" he spoke.
Stiles and deaton went to go get scott as the rest of them remained in the clinic, preparing what they were gonna need
lydia kept glancing at the huntress who remained quiet the entire time "bella, you okay?"
the huntress nodded hugging herself "i'm fine"
"h-how's your dad?" isaac asked hesitantly not knowing if she would snap at him for asking something like that but he couldn't help it, the werewolf was genuinely worried about her and he wanted to make sure if she was holding up okay with everything
she glanced at him briefly before looking at allison as well "i don't know, when i left the hospital he was still in surgery"
"your dad is very strong, i'm sure he'll be okay, bella" lydia comforted the girl rubbing her back.
They started dumping the ice on the baths as scott, stiles and deaton returned
"all right, what did you bring?" deaton asked the three soon to be surrogate sacrifices
stiles first went "uhm i got my dad's badge, jennifer kind of crushed it in her hand so i tried hammering it out a bit...still doesn't look great"
"it doesn't need to look good if it has meaning" the vet smiled at the boy
Isaac noticed the object in allison's hand "is that an actual silver bullet?" the argent huntress nodded "yeah, my dad made it as kind of a ceremonial thing. When one of us finishes learning all the skills to be a hunter, we forge a silver bullet as a testament to the code"
isabella looked down remembering when she finished learning all the skills she had to learn— only to her family the bullet was etched with a symbol of a skull, as a way to let others know that it belonged to a calavera
"scott?" deaton called
"my dad, got my mom this watch when she first got hired at the hospital, she used to say it was the only thing in her marriage that ever worked" he said looking at the small wrist watch on his hand
deaton went in front of them "Okay, the three of you get in and each of us will hold you down until you're essentially... well, dead"
"but it's not just someone to hold you under, it needs to be someone who can pull you back— someone that has a strong connection to you, a kind of emotional tether"
as lydia went to go to allison, isabella remained where she stood knowing she wasn't really needed at the moment until deaton called her name "isabella..."
