Speedwagon: Dead

   " It seems that Mr. Speedwagon has been murdered. "

Erina looked shocked and I felt my stomach lurch at the thought of Speedwagon dying. 

   ' I never got to see him. '

   " Are you sure? " JoJo asked. 

   " Rumor is, the cat who did it, was some sort of Tibetan monk. "

   " Some sort of monk? Could it be Straizo? "

   " I can't be. " I said to JoJo.

He turned to look at me and I looked at Erina. She looked to be shaking a little. I walked beside her and held her shoulders tightly to calm her down. She stopped shaking but she held on to me. JoJo was still looking at me.

   " Straizo wouldn't kill Speedwagon. He was our friend and we all fought together. He...he wouldn't betray Speedwagon like that, I know him. He wouldn't. "

   " Y/n, it's all we can assume right now. I know it'll be hard to accept it but Straizo is the only monk Speedwagon knows. It couldn't have been anyone else. "

He placed his hand on my shoulder and he held a calming look on his face. His look made me calm down a bit and we turned back to the mafia man. JoJo still kept his reassuring hand on my shoulder. 

   ' Thank you JoJo. '

   " All they're saying is that the bodies of Speedwagon and his team washed up along a riverbank somewhere down in Mexico. It's a genuine mystery. Nobody has any idea why they were killed or where the monk might have gone to afterwards. "

   " Actually, I might know...Speedwagon said a long time ago it involved Dio. And the horrible stone mask that changed him. " Erina said clutching her hands together.

   " Erina's right. It has to involve the stone mask that made Dio reject his humanity. There's nothing else it could be. "

   " JoJo, that guy is a mafia man. You can't trust what he tells you. He's trying to pull something! " Smokey said still afraid for JoJo.

   " Believe whatever you want to, kid. "

The man put a cigar in his mouth and started searching for his lighter. It seems he couldn't find it.

   " Hold on there. Try your left breast pocket for your lighter. " JoJo said pointing towards the man.

   " Huh? "

   " Thanks for the warning smokey but I think I believe what this man is telling me. "

JoJo was clutching the mans suit and the cigar hung from his lips. He brought the mafia man closer to his face and glared at him. I walked up to the two to make sure JoJo didn't take it to far.

   " These fellows are only motivated by money. Clearly information like that is valuable to his organization, so I'm inclined to listen to him. However, "

He swung his fist back and punched the man in the stomach. Blood spurted from his mouth and he held his stomach as he hunched over. 

   " ...as true as that may be, you don't simply waltz over here and then just blurt out awful news to Granny Erina. Don't you see how badly you've upset her with this news? You are very thoughtless. "

I saw JoJo raise his fist once more to punch the man back. 

   ' He still told us information about Speedwagon. We would have found out soon or later anyway, he just told us sooner. Plus, JoJo is going to cause a scene when that man hits the table behind him after the punch. '

JoJo swung his fist at the man but I got in front of them. Jojo's fist almost hit me but I grabbed his fist and quickly, with my Hamon, moved his fist away from us. In lightning speed I turned his fist around and it was aimed towards JoJo. I let go of his fist and his fist connected his chest. JoJo coughed and a little blood dripped from the corner of his mouth.

   " W-What the...Y/n? "

   " JoJo I understand how upset you are but please stay calm. This man just told us some information that we would have found out sooner or later. It just happened to be sooner. You also don't need to cause a scene here in this restaurant. Okay? "

   " Alright, but how were you able to turn my fist around so quickly? "

   " We can discuss that later, alright? Right now we need to focus on Erina. "

He nodded and we turned towards Erina who still looked shaken up. 

   " It was 50 years ago, and those events still haunt us. "

   " Don't be frightened, I'm here and I'll protect you. " JoJo said placing his hands on Erina's shoulders. 

   " You musn't Joseph. I'm concerned for you. I don't want you to be snared by evil from a half-century ago. "

   " I'll be fine Granny. "

He crouched down and hugged her and she hugged him back.

   " If this is my fate, then I'll accept it fully. "

   ' He sounds just like Jonathan. Jonathan said the exact same thing all that time ago. '

   " And I'll be with you. " I said.

   " Y/n you can't either. I don't want you to be involved once more in the evil. "

   " Erina, I was involved from the start and I will be until I die. The birthmark on my back is a symbol that I will always be involved in the evil of Dio. "

   " But..."

   " Erina I want to stay in this world and not disappear because of the birthmark I have. I want to stay and live here in this time but I have to continue to defend the Joestar bloodline and that I will always be involved with Dio's evil. I can't escape it. "

   " Y/n just promise me you'll stay. I can't handle you leaving again. Joseph needs you now much like how Jonathan did a half-century ago. "

   " I promise. "
