I grabbed my rifle clutching my bleeding side as I mounted Cage galloping away at full speed from the blazing inferno that once was my home. The house i grew up in,my family inside...I could smell their burning bodies.

Just thinking of it made me sick to my stomach, trying to focus on the road in front of me,my eyes clouded up with tears of grief and pain, dripping on to Cage's neck. Trying to get away, I could feel myself getting weaker and slipping in and out of consciousness as I held onto the saddle horn still clutching my side were the bullet tore through my flesh

"Get us safe boy" I mumbled to Cage with the last bit of strength I had before losing full consciousness

Slowly breathing i could feel my heart beat as if it was laying on my chest,"Well I guess I'm not dead" I thought to myself as I opened my eyes looking down at the blood stained bandage wrapped around my torso

"You're awake" a voice annoced. Pushing myself to sit upright I cringed in pain looking at the person who was an older lady with black hair graying and rosy cheeks with a deep scar
"Is she up yet?Miss Grimshaw" another voice asked but this time it was a man standing there with a renowned looking face and longer slicked back black hair and a black mustache.
"Well she's alive" the lady answered who I assumed to be miss Grimshaw
"What's your name miss?" The man asked with concern on his face.
Struggling to get the words out I answered "K...k...or...a"
The man nodded softly as he left the tent.

"You should try to get some sleep,Mr Strauss will give you something for the pain" Miss Grimshaw said as she touched my arm before leaving the tent too

Soon I passed out from the pain or the medication or maybe both? But either way I was gone...
In my dream I could still hear my brother's screams of terror as the house took blaze,it was as if the scene kept replaying in my head before I jerked awake in a puddle of sweat breathing heavily.
