It's Friday morning and I've never been so happy for it to be Friday. You see I'm finally on spring break from college and I get to go see my cousin Normani. I made sure that I had all of my things and I was out the door. As soon as I open the door I hear my name.
"Y/N are you leaving? I thought you were gonna stay here with us for spring break." said my suite mate Andrea
"Nah I was going to but Normani called and asked me to come visit her in Texas." I said
"Normani! You mean Motivation Normani, your cousin that looks bad as fuck and friends with Megan Thee motherfucking Stallion? yelled my roommate Lauren while running out of bathroom
"Bitch it is to early for you to be yelling and yes that Normani I forgot you had a crush on her" I said with a chuckle
"Sorry but you know that's my future wife and baby moms" she said
"Lauren she only came to visit once and you're instantly in love with her?" I asked
"Hell yeah you never heard of love at first sight? Also, after we left the club we made out and her lips were magical and her tongue.." Lauren said
"Alright that's enough I don't wanna hear about my cousins tongue and lips. I gotta go before I miss my flight. If ya'll want me to bring you guys something back from Texas let me know." I said while walking out the door.
I get into my Uber and he takes me to the airport. I'm boarded the plane and put my beats on and started to listen to some Brandy. Brandy just released a new album called B7. It's been eight years since her last album and I'm so happy. You see I'm basically a music junkie and they just don't make music the same anymore. Surprisingly the almost 4 hour flight didn't take that long. After I left the baggage claim I went to go to call for a taxi when I see a guy in suit with a sign with my name on it.
"Ms. Y/L/N? Hello my name is Chris and Normani has hired me to drive you to your destination." Chris said
"Wow um okay thank you Chris and you can call me Y/N there's no need to formal." I say
We pull up to Normani's house and a feeling of nostalgia washes over me the house has so many amazing memories hell Texas in general has amazing memories.

I get out the car as grab my luggage as I'm shutting the trunk all I see is Normani running full speed towards me. I try to drop my luggage so I can catch her but I had no such luck and she tackled me to the ground. We both just start laughing .
"Hey Y/N/N I missed you how have you been?" Normani asked
"I missed you too hun and I'm good happy to be away from school for a while." I said while getting up.
We walked into the house and I'm greeted with a little four legged friend. I put my hand out so he can smell it so he doesn't sense that I'm a danger to him. He sniffs my hand and then licks it.
