Zander's POV

"Thank you," I hung up, hands shaking. Hailey would be okay, right? A few people from the ambulance hurried by, and I was slowly pushed inside the ambulance. My head swirled with thoughts during the whole ride to the hospital.
She was okay. She had to.

But what if Jake abandoned Hailey to spend time with his friends?
Does he even know where Hailey is?
I bet he didn't even think of her for a second.

The ambulance lurched to a stop, and I got out quickly. The lobby of the hospital was empty, smelling something of soap. I sat down on a bench, burying my face in my hands. Instinctively, I got out my phone and called Luke and the others.
"Please come right now - it's urgent," I muttered through the voice mail. "Hailey's been knocked out."

The suspense was killing me. I couldn't stand just waiting here for Hailey to be okay. She was just unconscious... She was still alive. Still alive.
After forty minutes of pacing back and forth, I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder. Luke stood their smiling with the other band members behind him.
And that included Jake.

"Is Hailey okay?" Luke asked.

"The doctor hasn't called me yet," I sighed. "I've just been waiting for the last forty minutes... Nothing yet."
My gaze fell upon Jake and I narrowed my eyes.

"Zander..." Jake must've sensed something was off, because he walked up to me and placed a hand on my shoulder. " I don't know what happened -"

"YOU WERE WITH HER, HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW WHERE SHE WAS!" I shouted.

I could feel other patient's eyes on me, watching the scene unfold, but I didn't care. If this stupid, little imbecile had gotten his priorities right... Hailey would still be safe... "Zander, we're in a lobby -"

"I dont even care anymore Luke," I said through gritted teeth. Tears were forming in my eyes.

I took a step closer to Jake. "I thought I could trust you. I thought you were Hailey's friend - maybe something more, but then this happened.
"YOU TOLD ME SHE MEANT THE WORLD TO YOU! YOU SAID YOU COULD BE TRUSTED...
"But what is this Jake?
"I found her unconscious in the janitors closet - *where were you? *
"Do you even know that she was gone? JAKE SHE'S MY ONLY SISTER!
"MY ONLY SISTER!
"Do even understand that?!""

Silence rippled across the lobby like water. I could feel tears streaking down my face and everyone was just staring at me.

"Zander, I'm sorry..." Jake muttered, avoiding his gaze. "I was trying to find her..."

"TRYING?!" YOU WERE TRYING?!" I shouted.  "Then how come you weren't able to find her in the janitor's closet? WHERE WERE YOU THEN?!"

Suddenly, the doors slid open and a familiar trio entered the hospital.
Jake looked back to see who it was, a surprised look blooming on his face.

Jake's POV

It was Drew, Henry and Liam.
I was shocked to see them here, but before I could say anything, Drew walked up to us.

"I-I can explain why Jake was missing that time," Drew stuttered.

"Now your goon is butting in..." Zander mumbled.

"NO! Really i can tell you eveything. Even the thing that happened to Hailey! I'll tell you everything!" Drew shouted.

Zander was not impressed but listened.
But the thing that shocked me was the words coming out of Drew's mouth...
