chapter 38: the Tiger and the son of Orsune Krannic

Last time:

Ruby's sister, Yang goes to answer the front door

Yang: may I help you?

Sienna: i'm looking for someone

Weiss: who?

Sienna: Orsune's son

Now:

Qrow: Sienna?

Sienna: hey there, Qrow.

Yang: you two know each other?

Qrow: yep.

Weiss: I'll go and get him.

She goes to find Josh

Sienna explains about Adam's ambitions including the attack on Beacon

Yang: if Adam's next target is Haven Academy. How come you came here?

Sienna: you know Blake?

Yang: yea.

Sienna: her sister warned me that adam was going to kill me. So I've escaped and hoping that I would join you guys.

Qrow: ok then.

Then Weiss came back with Josh

Sienna: Josh?

Josh: do I know you?

Sienna: you look just like your father.

This made everyone confused

Weiss: how do you know his father?

Sienna: he and I were best friends.

She explains how both Sienna and Orsune were close and reveals that she's his godmother

Josh: i need to get some fresh air.

He heads outside

Alice: I'll go after him.

She follows

Ruby: how exactly are you're his godmother?

Sienna: when Orsune's second wife was giving birth to him. I was trying to calm him down.

Flashback

Many years ago

A baby boy was sleeping in Raven's arms while Sienna and Orsune were chatting

Sienna: so. what you're asking me is that you want me to be his godmother?

Orsune: that's right, Sae.

Sienna: alright, my friend. I'll be Josh's godmother.

Orsune: Thanks. I'm sure that he'll love to have you in his life.

Flashback end

Sienna: ever since that he had his son enrolled at the place called Garreg Mach Academy. I sometimes go to see him there. being the former high leader of the White Fang. His friends didn't like my bodyguards much but they did welcomed me though.

Everyone were surprised

Ashe: no wonder that Felix was sparring with one of them.

Then Josh came back

Josh: i would love to have you with us.

Sienna: thanks, Josh.

Qrow: well from tomorrow, we'll have a big group. It's time to hit the hay, goodnight everyone.

Early next morning

Josh was awake relaxing in the morning sun until a shadow of Yang blocked out the sun

Yang: you're awfully awake early today.

Josh: morning, Yang.

Yang dangles abit of her hair only just touching her brother's nose and sits next to him

Josh: hey, where's Sienna and the others?

Yang: Ruby's coming to join us. Ashe and Alice are still asleep while Weiss and Sienna are making coffee

Ruby sits on the other side of Josh

Yang: I can't believe that we're siblings.

Josh: me too.

Ruby: same but the important thing is that we're all here.

Josh: all but Edelgard, Constance and Blake.

Yang: well Blake made her choice.

Weiss and Sienna came out with coffees and handed them out to each other

Sienna: if she hadn't warned me about Adam's take over i wouldn't be here.

Yang: sorry about that, Sienna.

Josh: so how did she warned you really?

Sienna: it wasn't Blake actually.

Ruby: Who was it then?

Sienna: Atalante Belladonna.

Weiss: who's Atalante?

As Josh gets up and heads towards the railing

Josh: Atalante is Blake's sister and my old friend from the swords academy.

Yang: i didn't know she had a sister.

He smiles and walks back to the girls

Josh: Atalante is a one of a kind faunus.

Weiss: can you be more specific about her?

Josh: she has both a pair of cat ears and a tail

Sienna: and from I've heard she did missed you when your father transfer academies.

Yang: what house were you in at Garreg Mach?

Josh: you know back when myself and the rest of my team were formed. We were in the black eagle house

Weiss: I remember when Ashe explained about those houses.

Ruby: what are the other two?

Ashe: (from behind) they're the blue lions and the golden deer

Alice and Ashe have joined them and Sienna gave them their coffees

Then Ruby remembered about what Pyrrha said when she meet up with Josh and herself

Ruby: did you had another friend in the swords academy?

Josh: yes. I think that her name was Medina Orthinanos.

Yang: what was she like?

Josh: at first. She didn't want anything to with me then one day I saved her from her so-called boyfriend.

Sienna: I reckon that she thanked you for your help.

Josh: yep and we've been friends since.

Later

Qrow summoned everyone to talk about their next move

Josh: I have an idea.

Ozpin: and what's that?

Yang: back in our mother's camp. He had an alas called megatron.

Ozpin: is that to cover your true name?

Josh: yes.

He holds up a darkened mask

Josh: with this. I would be able to avenge Pyrrha.

Ruby: and catch Cinder off guard?

Sienna: that's clever.

As They leave for Haven Academy. Josh puts his mask on
