TIMOTHY
It was agreed that I would be appointed the Beta position for the gang. I do not understand this gang and their obsession with wolf-pack slangs, but the power was welcome all the same. It was good to know these people were dumb enough to eat whatever they were served with. Apparently, as a part of that position, I was given a separate room to bunk in if I wanted to. I decided to stay the night – and I claimed that I was tired from the four hour long party – so that I could try and get into that 'No Entry' room. That label had heightened my curiosity to no extend and I don't know why but I had a feeling that I would get the answers I was looking for from that room. So, here I am, pacing in my room, waiting – on pure instinct – for the right moment to go hunting.
I guess the slangs are catching up to me as well.
I walk out of the room after about 30 or 40 minutes and re-trace my steps to the main gathering hall and to that room from the hall. I found it within a matter of 10 minutes and I am standing in a corner with the door in my sight. One problem – there is a guard standing in front of it. I hold my breath and wait for him to walk away for just a minute so I can slip into the room. Another 10 minutes pass and the guard calls someone up.
"Hey can you cover me for a few minutes at the door? I need to take a load off."
"Okay. But fuck him and get here in no more than two minutes. You can't risk it for more than that. I will need at least 10 minutes." He laughs at something the other guy said and cuts the call. He mutters something under his breath along the lines of 'fucking love' and walks away.
Once I am sure he is beyond ear-shot, I bolt into the room and take in the sight in front of me and what I see is totally huge. There is a whole room dedicated to the lives of the Quinns. There are pictures together and of each member, Josie, Damien, a girl who looks very similar to Josie, so I am guessing Jaqueline and another woman who I am guessing to be their mother. Pictures at parties, café's, at Damien's office and some even from inside their house. I notice a house table at in the room – the only furniture in the room.
I walk up to table and open up the shelves. There are documents as well. I look at the time on my clock and I think the replacement guy should be here any minute now, so not bothering to read it, I take as many pictures as I can from the whole room and step out of the room to only bolt to my room and shut it behind me as fast as I can. I open up my laptop which I luckily brought with me and mail all the pictures to Damien.
I put in some other information and instructions of my own before sending it off and delete all the proof of it from the storage and the trash from both my mobile and my laptop. I then fall onto the bunk bed, which is surprisingly comfortable and think about texting Josie before deciding against it.

I am woken up in the morning by an abrupt knock on the door and a rattle of the door-knob."Is that Timothy in there?"
"Just a minute, Boss-Man." I walk up to the door and open it up, simultaneously trying to open my eyes as well.
"You're a sleeper now, aren't ya?"
"Why? What time is it?"
"Almost past noon. If you were in school today, you'd be done with your day by now."
"Oh damn. Guess I was just too tired."
"That's okay." He pats my shoulder and sits down on the bed.
Feel free to sit down, by the way.
I roll my eyes internally and listen to what he is rambling about.
"So you're gonna have fun today."
"What is today?"
"Today you get your revenge, son. As I said, school should almost be over." He passes me a mad grin and stands up, walking up to me again. I am still trying to get the details straight here.
"My revenge?"
"As soon as the school ends and the girl walks out." He winks at me and laughs again.
"Well, then, it is finally the day I have been so anxiously waiting for." I say a put on an evil smirk on my face, praying that it is convincing.
"Now, that's the spirit. Listen – Wait." He cuts off as his phone rings. I guess what the other person said made him really happy because that crooked evil smile came across his face once again. He cut the call and turned to me.
"Well. Looks like you won't have to wait that long either. The school is over and they will be here with her in some time. 10 minutes maximum. Get ready and meet me at the hall."
"Yeah. Sure. I can't wait." I mutter as he walks out of the room and shuts it close behind him. I lunge to my mobile phone and text Josie not to step out of the school building and head to the bathroom to take a quick bath. I head out of the room to the hall, all the time praying that they don't get her.

JOSEPHINE (EARLIER THAT DAY)
'I am worried sick' is literally the understatement of the fucking millennium. Okay, maybe I am exaggerating, but not that much. It has been 48 hours since I last saw Tim and except for the one text I received from him claiming that his mom bought his whole pretence, I have no fucking clue what-so-ever about what is going on. I sigh in defeat as I check the phone for any messages from him for probably the fiftieth time in the last 10 minutes.
"Hey, come on, we gotta go." Ro calls to me as she comes out of her room, all ready to head to school.
"Yeah, fine!" I huff again as I get up with my bag and walk with her to the car downstairs in the parking lot.
"Oh cheer up, will you? Just because your hunk is visiting his mom and isn't going to come to school for some time doesn't mean that your other friends aren't going to be there." Of course we had to make up a cover story. We couldn't tell them what was actually going on in the two of our lives and just how dangerous every step we took was turning as time ticked away in all its glory.
"Yeah, you're right. As always." I drawl out the words, making both of us laugh. We drive to school catching up on the latest gossip and talking about some more stuff which doesn't create any impact on our lives what so ever and all I can think about 'my hunk' and his safety.
The rest of the school day passes uneventful and I am walking back to my car – alone because Rowena had to leave with some classmate of hers for a project and they decided to do it at her place – when I noticed something shady. There were some guys around the age of forty just hanging out around the school premises. They do not belong here and they are certainly not a part of the security as well. I stopped short in my steps when I felt my phone vibrate with a message. It was Timothy.
'Baby don't leave the school premises. Something shady is up.'
I knew it. These guys were so out of place and they were dumb enough to not even make a cover. But, I made a mistake too. I was rooted on the spot, looking at his message and just as I deleted it, I felt a cloth around my nose and a hand firmly covering my mouth. I shouldn't have stopped. Oops.
