Chapter 4

Matteo

Fate really played a stupid game with 2 families 2 children at this point none of us knew what to do or say my brothers their wives even Selena and father had no idea what to say we all went quite,we were speachless how did any of this happen why did destiny ruin the lives of 2 children because it was clear things were about to change weather for good or bad only time would tell

Selena:l can't do this to Alexa no we can't do this to her

When she uttered those words everyone in the room looked at her in disbelief and l was about to ask her what she meant by that when my brother beat me to it

Bernard:what do mean

Selena:l know what l said sounds selfish but she loves her brothers so much we can't take that from her

Eliza(wife to Massimo): what about Rosabella don't you want to know her

Bella(wife to):hell if it was my daughter l would choose Rosabella over Alexandra anyday

Selena: what is that supposed to mean you don't even know the girl and what's wrong with Alexa hmm

Things were getting heated between the ladies and before me and my brothers could intervene father beat us to it

Father: ENOUGH fighting won't give us a solution to this problem but l think it's better we all take a day or two to process this information

Me:l agree with father

I dismissed all of them but my wife stayed behind

Me: would you ever forgive for the past 13 years

I somehow knew she couldn't but l wanted to hear it from her

Selena:if you swear to never tell the boys and Alexa the truth l will be with you forever and forgive you

I stared at my wife in disbelief how could she ask this of me how could she ask me to choose between her and my daughter could this be my punishment for doubting my wife for 13 years

Me:l love you Selena so much that even after doubting you l couldn't bring myself to question you because l was afraid of the answer but NEVER EVER ask me to choose between you and my kids because they will always come first

I walked away from my office walking to my. bedroom when l bumped it Alexa and she stared at me then apologized for bumping to me and finally today after 13 l was able to look at her at not feel betrayed so l pulled her into a hug then l walked into my room and took a shower but sleep didn't come so l decided to take a long drive

My drive was relaxing until l bumped into someone what is it with me and bumping into people today l was about to get annoyed until an angel voice apologized to me and when l looked at the owner of the voice my breath hitched as l noticed it was my one and only Princessa
