Ace's POV
Time Skip

I took Nora to a restaurant in town that I had found the other day. I opened the door for her and we were greeted by someone rather familiar, who said, "Ah, Mr. Dodger, it's great to see you again. I had hoped that you had survived the Fall of Beacon. And it seems like your girlfriend did too." Nora looked at the waiter, slightly shocked, and I said, "It's great to see you again, Barry. I'm glad that Rite Bite moved to Mistral after the one in Vale was destroyed." Barry nodded and said, "As are we. Now, shall I'll give you a table by the window again?" I nodded and said, "That's good." Barry led us to a table by a window and gave us our menus.
After we finished eating, Nora gave me a smile and said, "Ace, this is so much like our first date." I smiled and said, "I know. So much has happened since then." Nora nodded and said, "Yep. But we're still together." I nodded and said, "Exactly. I can't imagine what it would be like if I hadn't met you. Heck, I'd probably still be under the mind control. But I'm so glad I met you, Nora. I can't imagine a future without you in it. So can I be your King of the Castle?" Nora looked at me slightly confused and said, "What do you mean, Ace?" I smiled as I got down on one knee, pulled out the ring, and said, "Nora Valkyrie, will you marry me?"
She placed her hands over her mouth and said, "Yes! Yes, I'll marry you! I love you so much, Ace Dodger! Of course, I'll marry you! I love you more than I love pancakes. And I love pancakes a lot." I put the ring on her finger and she kissed me deeply and passionately on the lips. I kissed her back. When we pulled away, I smiled and said, "I love you, Nora." She smiled and said, "I love you too, Ace. Now let's head back to the house. There's something that I want you to do to me badly." I smirked and called out, "Hey, Barry. Check please!"
