Valeria sat in Sam's kitchen leaning against the wall on her chair with a butter sandwich in her mouth.
"This is really good," Valeria said as she ate it.
The food they gave at HYDRA was different. Tasteless and disgusting. As much as Valeria hated the Red Room, at least the food they gave there was tasty. It wasn't anything fancy but it tasted good. Lera had no idea how to cook, not that she had a chance to learn but it was something she always wanted to be able to do.
Valeria glanced up from her very tasty sandwich as Natasha and Steve walked downstairs into the kitchen. Natasha smirked at Lera as she sat next to her. Valeria's eyes looked over Natasha's body, she forgot how beautiful Nat was.
"So, the question is, who at SHIELD could launch a domestic missile strike?" She asked not averting her eyes from Valeria.
Steve coughed slightly, "Romanoff." He said looking at the two women. "Concentrate."
Natasha's curled lips fell and she stood up to get herself some food.
"Pierce."
"Who also happens to be sitting on top of the most secure building in the world." Natasha said as she sat down opposite Valeria.
Steve and Natasha continue to discuss the problem until Sam puts a large file onto the table.
"What's this?" Valeria asked picking it up.
"Call it a resume."
Valeria passed the file to Natasha who started asking questions about it to Sam. There was a picture of Sam and another young man. By the way Sam reacted when Steve asked about him made Valeria realize they must've been close.
Sam passed Steve a different file and from his reaction she knew it was something interesting.
"I cant ask you to do this, Sam." Steve said shaking his head. "You got out for a good reason."
"Dude, Captain America needs my help." Sam said crossing his arms. "There's no better reason to get back in."
Steve nodded smiling. "Where can we get our hands on one of these things?"
"The last one is at Fort Meade." He explained. "Behind three guarded gates and a 12-inch steel wall."
Steve looked over at Natasha and Valeria who both shrugged. "No big deal," Valeria said smirking.

Valeria, Natasha, and Steve where on the roof of one of the skyscrapers, waiting for Sam to get Sitwell up to them.
Valeria and Natasha exchanged glances with Steve, he nodded and walked away from them to the other side of the roof. Lera and Natasha reunited in Sam's bathroom. But they didn't talk much then. Their conversation seemed to private to discuss on the way with Steve and Sam sitting in the car with them.
"I'm so sorry Nat," Valeria whispered.
"There's nothing to be sorry for."
"Yes, there is. That night I wanted to go out if we stayed in our room –"
"This isn't your fault Lera," Natasha said reassuringly putting her hands on Valeria's shoulder. "We can't change the past."
Valeria nodded. She took in the women opposite her, her shoulder length red hair, emerald green eyes like two gems. She was more beautiful than Valeria remembered. It's been so long since they saw each other. It seems like centuries have passed. But they were together now and nothing could tear them apart. Valeria couldn't lose Natasha again.
Suddenly the door to the roof opened widely, and Sam threw Sitwell onto the roof. Steve headed towards him pushing him towards the edge were Valeria and Natasha were already waiting. Steve asking questions about Zola's algorithm even though Sitwell denied he knew anything about them. None of them believed him of course.
Steve held Sitwell on edge by his suit.
"Is this little display meant to institute that you're gonna throw me of the roof?" Sitwell said. "Because, it's really not your style, Rogers."
"You're right. It's not." He answered patting down Sitwell's suit. "But, its hers." He added stepping away from him.
Valeria watched proudly as Natasha kicked Sitwell right of the roof, he screamed loudly like a girl.
But of course, Sitwell didn't fall right to the ground, instead Sam caught in mid air and brought him back to the roof.
"Zola's algorithm is a program for choosing insight targets." Sitwell said as cowardly kneeled on the ground.
"What targets?"
"You!" Sitwell said waving his hand. He started listing all of the famous superheroes. All the things that are saved there, as an online record book. People's life history, their bank accounts, everything. That all that was to predict their future.
"And what then?"
Sitwell's eyes widened, "Oh, my god. Pierce is gonna kill me."
"What then?" Steve repeated.
"Then the insight helicarriers scratch people of the list." He paused. "A million at a time."

They sat in the car as Steve explained the plan. Suddenly, a loud bang as if someone jumped onto the roof of the car. A second later, the glass shattered and a metal arm grabbed onto Sitwell. Valeria tried to hold onto him but it was useless, and he was yanked through the window. Suddenly gunshots were being fired through the glass, and Natasha covered Valeria with her body as they crawled to the front.
Sam quickly stopped the car. And four of them got to see the man who attacked them. The Winter Soldier.
