The rest of the train ride went as normal. As soon as the train stopped in Hogsmeade station a giant man calls out "First years over here come on don't be shy ". The boy next to me tells that the big man's name is Hagrid.
We reach the school via boats and damn that was magical. Professor McGonagall takes us to the great hall to get us sorted

DRACO POV
I was way too nervous. I couldn't speak or anything before sorting ceremony I didn't even hear the old hat's song. Professor McGonagall starts calling names. Shit I feel like my heart will pop out of my chest

HERMIONE POV
"Hermione Granger" professor McGonagall called. Unconsciously I said "calm down". I heard Ron telling Harry "mental she is" I felt like punching him. But my mum taught me to control anger. So walk up to the stool and sit down while professor places the old hat on my head. after 5 long minutes the hat shouted out "Gryffindor". Everyone at the gryffindor table was cheering and i finally felt like I am home.

I hear professor call out "Draco Malfoy"

DRACO POV

Shit shit I walk over to Minnie and smile at her and sit down. I look over to slytherin table in the far end of the great hall. After a good 3 minutes the hat shouts "GRYFFINDOR"
