Chapter one

600 years back in time
I wake up to the sound of birds chirping, my favorite sound. I then get dressed into a fairly decent outfit and head out to go fetch some breakfast.I walk down to the lake to get some water. My family isn't very rich so we eat and drink what we can to survive. On my way there I see this man starting to follow me my obvious reaction was to run. I ran as far as my legs could carry me before I collapsed. I look behind me and see nothing there, I lost him. I turn back around to see the man right infront of me. I tried to scream but he put his hand over my mouth. As he locked eyes with me he said
"you shall not scream darling or be afraid of me"
and he took his hand off my mouth. I calmed down right away. I looked at him and saw his face get vainy and scary looking but I wasnt afraid. He bit into my neck and I wince as he bit me but honestly it felt good. He stops right before I passed out.
"Sorry love I was feeling famished and you looked delicious. Anyways" he locked eyes with me "you will forget everything and only remember a animal attacked you and I came rushing over to help you"
you snapped out of it.
"oh my thank you so much for saving me! If not I'd probably be dead" I said as I hugged him. "oh sorry I should probably introduce my self my name is Hazel. Hazel Thompson."
He smiled at you and said
"I'm Kol Mikaelson and it is lovely to meet you."
I smile back and start to pick up the things I've dropped. Kol starts to help me than his face changed.
"What's the matter?" I say as I grab the bread that's in his hand
"is this all the food you have?" Kol says
"I have to ration all of this with my parents and my sister but yes this is it." I say as I look into his eyes and see almost pity.
"why don't you come over to my place and have dinner there? My siblings will be there and they would gladly help you" he says as he looks up at you. I look at him shocked a stranger would do something like that for poor little Hazel.
"Are you sure? I wouldnt want to upset your family"
"Of course come on let's help you up"
"oh sure"
He helps me stand up and he leads me to his house. I walk towards his place and it's like a palace. I look around astonished at how big and fancy his home is.
"Holy hell Kol this is your home? Its beautiful!" I exclaim
"I thought you'd like it" he says leading me into the dining room where all of his siblings are. They all introduce themselves and I introduce myself to all of them. The one that really caught my eye was Niklaus. He seemed to take a liking to me as well. As the Mikaelsons waiters come around to give us the food I see Niklaus take kol to another room. I ask Rebekah the youngest sister
"Where are they going?"
"Probably going to discuss something of no value like they normally do" she says. I nod and finish my dinner which by the way was absolutely delicious. Kol and Niklaus finally come out of the room and kol gives me an nod to come to him. Reluctantly I walked up to him and he took my hand and walked us to a bedroom. (for who's I do not know) He angrily slams the door and looks at me. My breath starts to be heavier and I say
"Kol are you okay?"
He shakes his head and walks up to me really close our lips almost touching. I look up into his eyes and he looks down at me.
"I'm going to regret this" Kol says as he smashes his lips against mine.
