I wanted to write this word over and over again.

I wanted to feel the pain. I wanted the pain of being alone leave such an imprint on my heart, the nothing could ever remove.

I wanted to realise, for it to hit me. I wanted the pain of being alone to hit me. And hit me. And hit me again, keep hitting me till I completely understand.

I was alone. All alone.

I was on one side. And everything and everyone was on the other side.

The excruciating pain was ripping through me. It was killing me.

But...

This is what it means to be a human.

So I'll live through this.

Walk out of the warfield.

With a smile.

I can do this.

On my own.
