Demigods in highschool (Percy Jackson Fanfiction)

Ch. 56

- Calypso's POV -

I haven't been a part of Camp Half Blood for very long but I could already tell that this was not normal, and that things were starting to shift, and not necessarily in a good way. When I say 'this' is not normal I mean the fact that the camp now has a daughter of Hera. A day ago me and my friends went up to Mt. Olympus and they were all exited because come on it was Mt. Olympus, me not so much. Why?, you may ask, and I'll tell you. Imagine being trapped on an Island for thousands of years simply because of who your dad was, but it gets better... the only people who could possibly let you out don't care to do so no matter what you do, wait I'm not finished yet... then they promise to let you out, but for some reason it never happens. #story_of_my_life. And then I had to go up, see all of them, and pretend the whole thing was totally cool when really all I'm doing is watching them deal with their pesky problems as I wonder what they've been doing the past thousands of years were they couldn't take 3 minutes to let an innocent girl out of prison! But I'm with Leo now and my life has never been greater, it was just hard to look the Gods in the eyes with a fake smile on my face knowing personally that they really didn't care about what happened to me at all. Anyways now that I'm done with that little rant I'll get back in the subject. So you know how I said things at camp were all ready 'shifting' well they are.
Example 1: The fact that Hera and Athena don't yet along on Olympus has translated to their children and along with the personal influence of the Athena cabin's counselor Alice and the Annabeth's siblings now hate each other.
2- Chiron for once doesn't appreciate a demigod because Alice tried to redecorate the Hera cabin saying it was to empty and even tried to paint it with hot pink.
3- Now you may think that Alice and the Aphrodite cabin would be besties but think again. Their cabin is the only one she likes and Alice keeps coming in there and trying to use their makeup and try on their clothes, in return the Aphrodite cabin is upset that she thinks she can do that when she's not even their sibling. The only person that Alice has made friends with is Drew... shocker.
5- In general the whole camp is annoyed with her, which is why my friends and I can't wait to be able to get her out of our hair. We've been at Camp Half-Blood for 2 days and including the day we spent actually on the field trip that makes 3 days, meaning that we missed the whole field trip. Chiron had called Mrs. Raven telling her that we had, had a family emergency that had included Alice, then he said that we would all be back for the first day of school except Alice who would be coming back to school a couple weeks later (she had to stay at CHB and at least learn what it's like to be a Half-Blood even though the gods are just going to put monster protected around her as a sorry present for not claiming her). So now we head off high school again in the camps vans with a hyper Leo, talk about déjà vu.

~it's been a peaceful month without Alice and is now late March (still Calypsos POV~

"WAA, WAA, WAAAA!" My shrill alarm clock screams as I stumble out of bed and press the snooze button. I rub my eyes and flop back into bed staring at the canopy from my bed above me. It is sky blue with little clouds dotting it and has the tips of Palm trees on the edges. It reminds me of Ogi gi ya. I hop up and go over to my closet changing into the outfit before me that consists of a black flowing crop top with daisy's on the top with a yellow skirt and white sandals plus accessories. (A/N- the outfit is the picture at the top, and does anyone know go to add more than one picture to a single chapter? If so please comment instructions because I really want to know) I walk down stairs, eat my breakfast and drive to school with Leo. I put my sunglasses on and get out out of the car and grab Leo's hand. We meet up with the others and start walking towards the school with them. I smile effortlessly because today is just another day with out Alice, you see although she was supposed to only be gone for a couple weeks it's been more like a month because she is really horrible at all things being a demigod, and without her there has been very little drama. "FWAP!" a price of paper gets picked up by the breeze and hits me. I pull it off my stomach and examine it.

"Hey guys look at this," I say holding it out, it reads,

Prom is in 3 weeks so don't forget to vote... Alice for Prom Queen!!! 😉👸🌟👄💅👑👗💄

"Oh gods," Annabeth mutters.

"She's back," Piper finishes.
