Chapter 12: Beast's Castle

(Harmony's) POV:

After saying our goodbyes to everyone in the Land of Dragons, we get on the Gummi ship and set off for the next world. Not only that, but once we left, a new Keychain with a dragon carved into it appeared in my hand.

"What is that?" Saito asks.

"It's a type of Keychain. There are lots of these that can be found in other worlds. If I attach one of them to my Keyblade, they change the Keyblade's appearance and can also be used to strengthen some of my abilities, like my magic or even boost up my speed, for example," I explain. To show them what I mean, I switch out the Keychain on my Keyblade, making it change its form. "Like that."

"That's incredible," Heisuke comments as I switch Keychains again to change my Keyblade back to its original form.

"Not as incredible as this book. It contains information about all of the worlds we've been to, including what Keychain came from that world. It even has some information about the Land of Dragons and the next world we'll be going to," Luke says, flipping through the pages of a book that we found when we got back on the ship.

We're not sure who left it there, but we do know that it doesn't belong to any of us. We've taken a wild guess that my dad or the King could've possibly left it for us, in case we needed it. So, we decided to keep it. According to what was put down in the book, the Land of Dragons is set in ancient China, which was in the middle of a war against Shan-Yu, until we came along, and that the Keychain we just got is called Hidden Dragon.

"What does it say about the next world?" Hijikata asks.

"Not a whole lot. It just says that there's some castle that a prince used to live in before him and all of his servants were put under some kind of curse," says Luke.

"A curse, huh? Normally, I wouldn't believe in stuff like that, but..." Nagakura tries to say.

"After what we've seen so far, I'm starting to think that anything is possible," Harada says, finishing what Nagakura was trying to say. "I'm also wondering what kind of curse it could be."

"I think we'll find out soon enough, look," Asch says, gaining everyone's attention.

We look at the front of the Gummi ship and see a huge gate, just like the last one we saw when heading for the Land of Dragons. I'm not sure what awaits us in the next world, but I've got a strange feeling, almost like a sixth sense, telling me that someone is feeling very sad right now.

(3rd) POV:

In a dark, dreary, gloomy castle, there is an enchanted rose, sitting atop of a table, covered by a glass dome for protection.

"It won't be long before the last petal falls. There is only one path before you...Beast. Think about my offer," an Organization 13 member says, then notices a group of people outside. "Hmph. Time to do some babysitting."

(Harmony's) POV:

When we arrive, we end up finding this huge castle. But it doesn't look like anyone's home, considering how quiet it is.

"Any idea on where we are?" Heisuke asks.

"It's huge!" Donald comments, his voice nearly echoing throughout the hall.
