We climbed a fence and followed a trail.
We came to a bench made of old wood and rusty nails. A trench ran under it, fallen leaves were covering it.

We cried until our faces were wet, with the salty stench of tears and sweat. You pinched my cheek and quickened my heartbeat.

You and me made sense.

We lived in the present tense, our souls coexist for an opportunity we couldn't resist.

We don't talk about all of the problems that didn't exist, and I believe - we were built for this.
