I panted in rythem with the body above me. The chains that still held me down chanked and echoed around us. Everything began to glow a bright green around me. I heard the familiar plasma blast of a night fury and the ice around us blasted apart. The dragon above me roared then looked down to me. I immediately recognized the one green eye and one blue eye. Hiccup smiled down to me.
Unlike me, Hiccup glowed a green.
"I love you mom," he said quietly.
He looked back to the Alpha and roared.
"You have tried to take everything from me! I will not bow down to you as other dragons do!"
I didn't quite get what the Alpha raored back but shot some ice at my son. I roared out but was cut off by Hiccup's loud plasma blast collided with the ice. It burst into little shards and fell around me. This continued on for a minute or so before Hiccup took a deep breath and shot a powerful blast at the Alpha's exposed chest. It struck right where the heart was and the Alpha roared in pain before passing out and falling to the depths of the ocean. Everyone cheered and the human Hiccup walked over to me.
"Well, Northstar, looks like your son is the new Alpha.
He broke the chains and I stood up. Toothless ran over and nuzzled me.
"Northstar, baby, I thought I lost you!"
"Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere."
Hiccup, my pup, slowly walked toward me, his glow slowly fading.
"Mom, I'm sorry.......f-for everything," Hiccup said cautiously.
I smiled, "Hiccup....I will always forgive you. And now......". I roared and glowed my alpha colors. The rest of the dragons came forward and bowed. I turned to my son and bowed too. He stood tall, but it was easy to see he was a little more than surprised and nervous. But he roared proudly and all the dragons followed suit. I smiled and nuzzled him.
"You will be the best alpha this world has ever seen." He smiled.
