Ok so, im going to talk about headcanon ideas and how it can actually make you better at drawing/animating. If you didnt know, headcanons are when you think this could have happened or could be there just nit mentioned or its not there but its just better there, yeah i know, horrible explanation. ill give an example.
My Headcanons: Sunny has black freckles because of her father (no spoilers for new peeps) Rainwings a longer than most dragons because like idk? snakeyness? and finally sandwings shake/rattle their tails before a strike, like a rattlesnake or scorpion idk. and maybe also have bigger ears which go up more, like a fennec fox, but i have yet to draw this and i kinda wanna see if it looks good first. oh and how camels have like a gajillion flipping eyelids? yeah maybe sandwings would have them to. To make these, i would use references (for the different types) like a python as a kind of reference for a rainwing body shape, and using a video of a rattlesnake for animating a sandwing attack.
