Chapter 4 "Friends or Enemies?"

Bethany POV: At school, Jc ignored connor the entire time. After school the sun was going down but it began getting cloudy. I walked home but wanted to take a walk, so I grabbed a raincoat and my phone and headed out. Connor and I met up, accidentally.

We talked, "Hey con. What are you doing here?" He replied, "I wanted to take a walk. Haha." It started to sprinkle. Then it started to pour, we ran to shelter under a big tree in a park, some rain was still hitting us.

Connor POV: I looked into her eyes.. I put my hand around her waist and slowly leaned in and kissed her as it started to rain harder. It was so romantic.. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Bethany POV: later on he walked me home. When I walked in, my parents were sitting at the dining room table. My mom with her glasses on, on the computer.. And my dad with a notepad and pen out. They were obviously talking about something serious...

"What's going on?" I said as I hung up my dripping jacket.

"Nothing, sweetie. It's fine." My mom said with a nervous tone.

At this point, I knew something bad was happening.
