One week later it was the first day of school. His father accompanied him to the platform 9 3/4 where he got on a train for Hogwarts. Draco felt more and more happy and satisfied by going there. He wanted to make his father proud and that's exactly what he was doing.
While he was walking on the train, looking for a free sit, he heard people whispering things about Potter.
Then he finallly saw two boys and decided to talk to them.
''Hello.''
''Hi.''
''I'm Draco. Malfoy.''
''Goyle. This is Crabbe.''
''Malfoy? As in Lucius Malfoy?'' Crabbe asked.
''Yes, I'm his son.''
''Do you know about Harry Potter?''
Draco got surprised, ''I heard about him. Why? What do you know?''
Goyle leaned in and whispered, ''The one your father is working for ...'', he glanced around, leaned closer and whispered even quietly ''... Voldemort.'' he then proceeded in normal voice, ''Harry is the only one who survived his attack. And he was just a baby when it happened.''
Draco looked shocked.
He took a sit next to them and thought about everything his father ever told him about Potter. He never acknowledged how strong Harry Potter actually is.
