The Dreaded 3 Letters - CML

It was the next day I and my parents decided to go back to the hospital to have the bone marrow test performed. Whatever it takes, I had to be brave to face the pain of the needles that will penetrate my hip bone and conquer it. While I was inside the room where the bone marrow test was being performed by the hospital staff and the doctor, my parents and my sister waited outside and prayed - hoping that the operation will go smoothly. 

The bone marrow test didn't take too long and I was given at least 15 minutes to rest before going home. I even took a moment to look for the blood sample that was taken from me. To be honest, the procedure hurt a bit but not that bad for me not to be able to endure the pain. What we are now waiting and hoping for is the result.

So we had to get back to St. Luke's to claim the results of my bone marrow test the following day... to tell you honestly, I was keeping my fingers crossed and prayed that it wouldn't be the illness I've been dreading to suffer from. But turns out it was..... the dreade 3 letters - CML (otherwise known as Chronic Myeloid Leukemia or Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia)
