Of course, Petunia had to text me while I'm with James. Annoyed, I ignored the text and observed a pillow instead. Would James like it? It had a blue background with a T-Rex on it. I had already collected a bag of chocolate coins and was on the hunt for something else.

Ignored.
I think James would love that pillow so I added it in my cart. What else? What else? What else? I scanned around, looking for something James would like.
A pen?
A toy sword?
A book? Maybe a book. He seemed like a person who would read it if I bought it for him. But what if he didn't like reading? I didn't want him to feel like he HAD to read the book. But what if I knew he would love it? Does he like romance books?
I was thinking of books by my favourite author when something else caught my eye. It was perfect.

"JAMES!" I called out to the whole store.

"James! Over here!"

After telling him where I was, he came over to me.
"Everything alright?"
"I've got to go. Stupid sister has my mum wrapped around her finger"
"Oh, okay," his face fell and his smile disappeared.
"It's really not your fault and I really enjoyed this" I reassured him.
"Yeah okay"
"I really did, I loved it"
"Did you?" He smiled a bit.
"I did"
"Thanks, uh do you need a ride?"
"I really do, thanks"
