☾︎ Vampires

There are very few differences between a vampire and human. Despite popular belief, they are not affected by crosses, garlic, or sunlight. Instead, they need to drink the blood of a living in order to survive, and have bodies capable of withstanding greater strain than their human counterparts.

Vampires can be split into two types, as described below.

☾︎ Greater Vampires
(Purebloods)

A greater vampire is the child of two pureblood parents, born as a vampire. After reaching maturity, they cease to age, continuing to live on as an immortal. Greater Vampires are the only ones who can turn humans into vampires.

☾︎ Lesser Vampires

Lesser Vampires are humans who, after making a contract with or being bitten by a Greater Vampire, become vampires themselves. Most of the inhabitants of the mansion fall into this category.

Vampires have the same sense of taste as humans and enjoy eating food for pleasure. However, human food provides no nutrition and does not stop them from feeling hungry. In addition, vampires are affected by alcohol and caffeine in the same way humans are, the effects of both depending on the tolerance of the individual.
