Shao Khan: Kitana was a false khan, a traitor to out world! She conspired with Raiden to lead you astray!
Sindel: She seeks Kronika's power. Why? To destroy the empire! All who followed Kitana are complicit in her treason. Your sentence is death
Shao Khan: But we will grant clemency now, and riches in the new era to all who renounce Kitana and fight under our command
(Everyone cheers Shao Khan's name)
Sindel: Now man the oars! We have a battle to win! For the new era!
Group: For the new era!
Sindel: Rain. You will suffer for killing Mileena
Rain: I have no regrets, Sindel. And I will certainly enjoy killing you
(Sindel uses her scream magic on Rain, torturing him)
(Weakly, Liu Kang grabs hold of Kitana's hand)
(Shao Khan stomps on Liu Kang's arm, breaking it)
Sindel: Kitana shall be put in chains. Let her suffer the anguish of defeat. And what of him?
(Shao Khan summons his hammer)
(Meanwhile)
(Specter teleports into an underground mining complex)
Specter: This has to be it
Kintaro: Work harder!
(The slaves are all mining. Johnny and Sonya are being escorted to a cage. But so is Cassie)
Specter: Hmm... I'll go for Johnny and Sonya first. Then we'll get Cassie out
(Specter teleports behind a shokan guard, kicks the inside of his leg, and snaps his neck)
Shokan: Hey-
(Specter throws a knife at the other shokan guard, hitting him right in the forehead)
Jonathan: Woah! I need to use that one for time quake-
Specter/Sonya: SHH!
(Specter uses his silenced pistol to shoot the lock on the cage)
Jonathan: Nice going, kid
Specter: Thanks, but I need you two to stay put until I get Cassie out of here
Sonya: Not without one of us
Specter: Alright, change of plan. Sonya, you come with me, just in case I slip up and get caught by a guard. Johnny, I need you to stay put. Be my eyes and ears on what's going on in the lower levels
(Specter and Sonya teleport to Cassie's cell to find Cassie in chains, with shokan guards walking into the cell)
Shokan: This will be fun (Cracks knuckles)
Sonya: Aw, you already opened the door for me, how nice. Would be a shame if you were to... fall dead on the floor
Shokan: What is this?!
Sonya: I'm distracting you. What do you think?
(Specter knifes a shokan guard in the back of the head with one hand, and headshots a shokan guard with his silenced pistol in his other hand)
(Cassie strangles a shokan guard with her chains)
(Sonya wraps her legs around a shokan guard, throws him against a wall, and crushes his head with a rock)
