"I'm sure everyone is wondering what the hell they're doing here." Jess says to the group of people standing in their living room. "And by now I bet you've guessed it's not a housewarming party." She adds, holding her left hand over her smiling mouth, showcasing her engagement ring. 

A chorus of cheers and congratulations erupt and everyone is gathering around Billie to hug her and Jess to examine the ring. "Oh my god! It's huge." Zoe exclaims, earning a'that's what she said' from Jess.  "Nice pick Billie." Claudia says with a grin, causing Billie to do the same. 

Everyone was so excited, including Jessica's mom and sister who were on FaceTime when the good news was announced. The moment seemed perfect, it was perfect. 

After everyone settled down a bit they migrated to the dining room and sat down for dinner, they were chatting amongst themselves and laughing at Shark and Blue who were wrestling in the kitchen. 

"So you two are getting married?" Finneas asks Jess, with a smile. Luckily they were sat next to each other and they able to speak without any interruption. "Yeah, I'm really excited." Jess responds, earring a nod from him. 

"Do you have a date? Or are you thinking about waiting?" He questions, leaning on the table and resting his chin in his palm. "We were thinking March." Billie answers, chiming in from her seat next to Jess. 

"So soon?" He says, furrowing his brows. "What do you mean?" Jess asks, getting a little annoyed. "You guys are nineteen." Finneas states as a matter of factly. "And? What the hell does age have to do with this?" Jess asks, everyone now is looking at them. 

"I just feel like you two are a little young." He says, "let's not argue about this please." Billie adds, wrapping her arm around Jess to calm her down. "I'm just confused, why would we wait?" Jess starts, trying to find the words. 

"Why should we wait until society deems us to be the acceptable age to marry? What the hell are we supposed to do until then?" Jess continues, explaining how she feels. "You shouldn't have to." Finneas says, agreeing with her. "I have two goals in life; to be successful in whatever I'm doing, and spend the rest of my life with Billie." Jess explains, trying to articulate her feelings. 

"I get it, and I'm not shitting on your plans." Finneas says, only to be interrupted by Billie. "It kinda sounds like you are." She says, Jess nodding her head, agreeing with her fiancée. "Well I'm not, I just want you both as happy as you possibly can be." He tells them, grabbing Jess's hand. 

Jess let's put a shaky breath, squeezing Finneas's hand to indicate she's not mad. "You guys are my best friends and I want your relationship to thrive." Finneas adds, causing the girl's faces to break out in smiles. 

"It will, we're ready for this." Billie says, still smiling. "Then let's plan a wedding!" He exclaims with an excited grin. Jess and Billie share a smile at everyone's excitement. They now realized that everyone was waiting for this moment as much as they were and they couldn't be happier. 

Jess and Billie were completely in love and ready to spend the rest of their lives together. Marriage was a big step, but they knew it was the right thing to do.

As it got later in the night, mostly everyone went home. Finn and Claudia were sat on the couch while Billie and Jess were sat across from them on the loveseat. The small group were discussing wedding plans, seeing as the bride and bride to be had already started planning. 

"You said you were thinking March?" Claudia asks, looking for confirmation on the date. "Yeah, March is kinda special to us." Billie answers, grabbing Jess's hand. "Plus it gives us five months to plan which seems like enough time." Jessica adds, brushing her bangs out of her face. 

"Why March?" Finneas questions, the girls give him an 'are you serious look?' "We met in March, we started dating in March." Billie says, a duh tone lacing her voice. "You were literally there the day we met, plus we hung out for the first time in March. Get with it Finn." Jess adds, making everyone laugh. 

"Anyways, Jess will be twenty so we're thinking the 28th, 29th, or the 30th." Billie says, getting back on track of the conversation. "But we're not sure if we wanna do it on your mom's birthday." Jess explains, "so it'll probably be March 30th." Jess continues, looking at Billie to confirm the date. 

"I'm so excited for you two." Claudia says, looking at the girls lovingly. "Us too." Billie responds, pulling Jess close to kiss her cheek. This right here was probably the most exciting time for Jess and Billie —besides the actual wedding— planning and hyping themselves up was all they ever wanted. 

"Tonight was good." Jess says, crawling into bed next to Billie. "Hell yeah it was." Billie responds, agreeing with her fiancée. "I'm so glad you proposed to me." Jess says to the blue eyed girl laying next to her. "There's nothing more I want then to spend the rest of my life with you." She says as she rolls to grab something from her bedside table.

Jess sits up on her knees and holds a black velvet box her hands. Billie audibly gasps, upon realizing what it is. "Jess." She whispers, a smile stretching across her lips. "I figured I needed to have a cute moment like you did. It's only fair." Jess says with a laugh as she opens the ring box. 

"Baby, we've been to hell and back together, and I'd do it all over again if it meant I could spend my life with you. We belong together and I love you so so much. Will you marry me?" Jess asks, a look on her face indicating she already know the answer. 

"Obviously." Billie responds, pulling Jess down to kiss her. Once they pull apart Jess says, "I thought you'd say yes, but I just needed to make sure." She jokes, causing Billie to laugh. Jess slips the sparkling ring on Billie's left ring finger and she can't help but feel giddy seeing it. 

The rings made everything feel so real, and tomorrow they'd go venue shopping. It was the best time of their lives and they felt more connected then they ever have. Jess and Billie we so proud to be together and they couldn't wait to be together forever.

Hiya!! This is a cute little filler chapter so I hope u all like it! I wanna say, there are only going to be two or three chapters left then this book will be finished. But don't be sad because I'm toying with the idea of bonus chapters. Like whenever I miss Jess and Billie I'll just write fun stuff that's not really important to the story.
