"Ava. He hates you. He's gonna see your name on the list and just throw the whole paper away," Rhys states, I can hear the sound of his tv on in the back.

I gasp, glaring at my phone, "you know I have the experience and the required skills...I have the experience," I really do, I got to be a manger for one day in one of my last jobs. It went very well.

"Ava, Ava, you're asking to be fired," he tuts, "just use your connection,"

I sigh, "no! That's exactly what that two-faced forgot her name wants!"

"So what's the plan?" He asks,

"I'm going to be the most amazing worker there, get employer of the week and dip," I smile to myself about the plan, it's a great plan.

There's a few seconds of silence before Rhys burst out laughing, "yeah good luck with that,"

"Good luck with what?" Suddenly a new voice says, causing me to turn around to find Kai leaning against the door frame.

"Nothing," I quickly respond, ending the call with Rhys, "when did you get back?"

Kai stares at me unconvinced before walking towards me on the couch and taking a seat besides me, "just now,"

"Really? Didn't hear you, then again this house is so big, if I was getting murdered in my room, you probably would have no idea," wow that was a big jump...

Kai gapes at me a few seconds, "Ava... Firstly there's no way a murder could even get inside-"

"He could just use the front door," I interrupt.

Ignoring me Kai continues, "and secondly, that's why we should just share a room, you know, just in case," cheeky.

I gasp, "is this you asking me to move in with you?"

He nods, "yeah, Ava would you like to officially move in with me?"

I narrow my eyes at him, "wait? All this time this was unofficial, so you could've just kicked me out... again," the first was his fault as well.

He rolls his eyes while sighing, "no..." I gasping I smack his arm, "I'm joking, but would you like to move in... to my room?" He asks again, laying down with his head on my lap facing the TV.

I think; it's weird that I still partly live with half my clothes in luggages, like I'm ready to just pack my bags and leave any moment, old habit.

"Yes," I will marry you! To fast Ava! "move in with you, officially,"

Kai gets up and stares at me with a smile on his face, "really?"

I nod, "really... But... If snore too loud, I'm out, I will be sleeping in the bath tub or my old room," oh no, what if he's one of those people that blow in your ear with the snore...

Kai shakes his head, "I don't snore, well I probably do, but not... okay I don't know, but we'll find out,"

I laugh and smile at Kai, which seems to catch his attention, because and stops and stares back at me with a smile. Kai leans towards me, his hands on the side of my face. Gulp.

Well there goes my heart. Ava you say that every time, you've been dating for a while now. Shut up inner voice. You shut up! No you! Shut up and focus of the kiss, stupid!

His lips touch mine gracefully, causing me to close my eyes, but the kiss doesn't linger, Kai pulls away. But, before I could open my eyes, his back, stronger and more passionate than before, his left hand tracing my hair.

My heart was about to leave my chest, just as Kai pulls away but still close, both of breathless as he says, "wanna check if the bed is comfy enough?"

Kai...

I gape at Kai before bursting out laughing, causing Kai to laugh as he puts his head on my shoulder, "you know what that actually sounds like a great idea, need to make sure the-"

Before I could finish, Kai was up and I was thrown over his shoulder, love a patient man...

"So is left mine or right?" I ask from the closest, I always thought why would this man need a walk in closet? Clearly to hang 50 black suits and as Kai says "50 different shades of black," apparently.

"Whichever side you want babe," I hear Kai say, Ohh babe... Me likey.

Since most of his things were on the right side, I decided to move it all to the left, because I'm always right.

I hear Kai walk into the closet, "I think we'll need more room..."

Offended I turn around, "yeah, for yourself, not me!" Okay, I don't like this anymore, this is making me feel broke.

Dropping the clothes I was holding back into the luggage, I walk up to Kai, pulling him back into the room, "okay I'm tired, let's watch a movie,"

Kai laughs, "it's literally been half an hour,"

Getting into bed, I roll my eyes at him, "enough time for me to be tired,"

Kai shakes his head at me, but still joins me,

Scrolling through the movie ideas, I decide to just go with 'Bridget Jones's Diary'.

Imagine two guys fighting over you... Smacking the voice in my head, I say; forget two, I don't even know how I got one. Pity pull.

Once the credits started rolling movies, my eyes were slowly starting to close, its not like I was trying to fall asleep to escape unpacking or anything.

I feel the bed dip, before a kiss is placed on my forehead and, "I like you very much. Just as you are."

There is movement as Kai gets out of the bed, I wait a few minutes until I realise he isn't coming back, I slowly open my eyes and notice the light in the closet still on.

Sitting up I look through the gap on the door, there he was, unpacking my clothes.

God, what did I do to deserve him?
