Amari spared no time in racing towards the village, launching herself off of every tree that she passed, slicing through every tree that was too far in the way.

Her speed and strength left a massive trail of destruction in her path, trees were knocked over, wildlife turned into mist from the pressure alone.

"Fuck, don't die, don't die."

One couldn't tell whether or not Amari was crying as the tears would evaporate instantly from the sheer speed she was moving at.

Finally, she reached a clearing in the forest with small wooden huts scattered throughout.

"SHAMAN, HERE, NOW!" Amari screamed so loud it shook every hut in the village.

Tears flowed down her face and onto Ai.

The tribesman gathered around to see what could have caused their leader to be so emotional.

Gasps could be heard as they saw Little Aiya wounded so heavily.

"Make way buffoons." The elderly village shaman, dressed in various beast leathers and bones, stepped out from the crowd and jogged up to Amari and Ai.

"What is... Ah! Little Aiya! What happened!?"

"S-she... I-I... P-p-p-please!" Amari couldn't speak, she was sobbing so hard that she started choking on her own words.

"Nevermind, nevermind, quickly, to my hut." He spoke as he grabbed Amari by the arm and guided her through the crowd of people to his hut.

The hut was noticeably larger than most of the other huts of the village, with the exception of Amari's hut, which, to the disapproval of Amari, was fashioned with stronger wood and filled to the brim with tributes from the tribesman.

Arriving at his hut, he entered through the doorless entryway into a large room filled with medical cots and various potions and other medicines.

Amari brought Ai to one of the cots and laid her down gently.

"Puh-Please d-do something, Mata!" Amari said still sobbing.

"Stand back Chief. I need to diagnose her." Mata said as he took out a small dagger from his inventory.

He carefully cut the dress off of Ai, gently pulling the fabric from the bloody mess on her chest.

"Hmm. Her chest is caved in, ribs are... completely shattered, lungs have been pierced. How long ago did this happen?" Mata asked as he checked her pulse.

"Ab-bout 15 minutes..."

"15 minutes? Are you sure? She should be dead by now, luckily she still has a pulse. [Psychokinesis]" He chanted as her chest started to expand, the shards were being pulled out of the lungs. Ai's chest heaved as she took in a deep breath as the ribs were forced back up into their regular position and she coughed up a massive amount of blood.

"[Restoration!]" He chanted once more as a bright yellow aura surrounded Ai's body. She began to breathe again this time without coughing up blood.

"[Heal]" Mata began to channel healing energy as golden mana began to flow over Ai's chest.

After a minute of channeling his spell, he finally stopped and gasped for air.

"Well she is safe, I will continue to heal her when I replenish mana."

"T-thank you, Mata..." Amari said, wiping the last of her tears from her puffy red eyes.

"Now would you mind telling me how in the hell this happened?"
