[Knock, Knock]
August Mom POV:
I invited my baby boy over to talk about his relationship. My son sounds pretty upset when I was talking to him earlier on the phone and I want to find out what's wrong. Who ever that girl is, because I never met her, she better chill... My son doesn't deserve to be heart broken like this.
"Hey baby." August Mom, Jane said, giving August a kiss on the cheek.
"Hey momma. You got that famous crack juice (lots of sugar in it) you use to make when I was a little yungin'?" August asked, walking in the kitchen to look in the refrigerator.
"Nah baby, not today but talk to me son." Jane said, sitting down on the couch.
"There's nothing to talk about." August said, grabbing a water bottle.
"Yes there is... Momma knows best so come and sit next to momma boy!" Jane said, hitting the couch to tell him to sit down.
August sat next to her, looking like he was full of it already.
"Come on. Talk to me." She said.
"What do you want to talk about?" He layed back.
"Your relationship. What's her name?" She asked him.
"Katherinee... Momma, I honestly don't feel like talking about it.. Besides we talked earlier on the phone about her." He said.
"Ok and? And when we were, you were giving me one word answers. I need answers, full complete sentences." Jane told him, "I never knew that I'll be your own personal teacher at the age of 20."
He just sat there, kept thinking about Katherinee. Nothing else popped up but Katherinee.
"I don't know, I guess so." He got smart.
"How long were you two together?" She asked.
"Long enough to separate." He said.
"August! Ard, I know you're pretty upset but-" she said.
"You think?!" August said, shaking his head.
"But! It doesn't mean that you can just hold a grudge forever, you're going to have to forget about it." She continued.
"Momma, no one is holding a grudge." He said, trying to dismiss this conversation.
"August! Either you want to be with her or you don't... I mean she may have upset you but you know how girls are, they don't mean to. First, they'll be stupid enough to even break my son's heart, I mean look at you. You're handsome." She said, "anyways son, that girl loves you I'm sure... Just give her another chance, if it doesn't work then don't try it anymore. But just have a talk, please."
"Ard momma, but I got to go." He said, kissing her and then leaving.
