A Fresh Start

Shield

Hermione's POV

I know this war is coming in no time. Mcgonaggal decided to put the first-three years to be put in the Slytherin Common Room supervised by the Weaslys accompanied by Professor Filtwick, Ginny, Mrs Weasly, Lavender, Seamus and Dean. We chose the dungeon because it's safer instead of the Gryffindor's, Hufflepuff's or Ravenclaws, their towe could get hit any minute as the shield that Mcgonaggal planned to make broke. While the remaining students spread to put a shield in Hogwarts and assigned to Places that needs to be secured. The shield making process was just like old times.

Harry, Draco, Neville, Luna, George and I decided to patrol first to make sure everything is safe. We have made groups and take shifts on who are guarding the certain places while the rest of the people who aren't in their duties are waiting in the great hall. Mcgonaggal told everyone if there's an attack just put on a spell on any place and we're on our way.

I hate this i hate waiting. I feel like something's not right. Something we forgot to do but i don't know what, Harry and the rest of the boys seem to have jokes and talk while the girls were quiet because they feel sleepy but i dont and Drco and Harry seem to notice my quietness.

"What's wrong Mionne?" Harry asked

"Huh? No N-nothing"

"It doesn't look like nothing, spill it out"

"Why do i feel like we forgotten something?"

"Forgot what? You have the sword with you right?"

"Yes i do but, i feel like something's wrong"

"No Mione look at the marauders map, everyone is covering almost every places in Hogwarts we closed the tunnel from Hogwarts to everywhere, we have shield the whole place, we're just have to wait"

"Are you sure every place got Covered?"

"yes see it for youself then" Harry gave the map to me. Draco kept conforting me by putting his hand on my waist. It was so quiet, it's like as if i'm a prefect doing a night patrol to make sure everybody is asleep.

Since we have already patrol the whole castle we decided to take turns with squad two and the students whe stayed in the great hall were assigned to place they need to keep an eye on. We went back to the great hall to have a rest. Mcgonaggal is in front of the front gate still waiting for whatever's coming next. Harry asked me and Draco to stay as close as possible to him. Draco gave me a plate of food from the great hall because he knew i havent eat since i left the Weasleys house. We might need some strength.

It's 2 am already and a lot of people already felt tired and trying to find whatever they can to go to sleep. There were no signs of an attack or anything, i am so sleepy but i still try my best to keep my eyes open. Draco has already asleep on my thigh. Mcgonaggal decided to put on sleeping bags and some students who are not in patrol decided to sleep i can't hold my super tiring eyes.
