He pants as he shoots through the forest, trees blurring as tears run down his checks.
The collar’s charm repeatedly hit his chest, as he tried to find a hiding place. The person he was
running from is a bounty hunter, he would easily track him down if he wasn’t careful.
He frowns as he slows to a stop, panting. He looks around, the bright colors reminding him of his home, but they didn’t look normal to the mertroll. He looks around more, before
pausing.
A tree, leaves thick, and able to hide his color, and high enough it’ll be hard to thurley
check. So he made a mad dash up, and hid into the branches, making sure to dull his natural
glow so it didn’t attract attention.
Hours seem to have passed, before a smell hit the poor pet. His stomach growls in hunger, as he sniffs around to find what’s creating the smell. Once he figured it out, he went and dived for it, only to land in someone’s chest.
This was the last and only time he pulled an escape attempt… He didn’t even get to eat
the fish.
