The exams snuck up on Miley who was so busy trying to research why she and Harry's minds were... connected. She also used her free time to find out more about the Mirror of Erised. She just couldn't get it off her mind. She and Harry haven't used their minds to communicate since the time he accidentally read her mind when they found out about the mirror.
The quills they were given were enchanted so it was impossible to cheat. That didn't stop the twins.
"You guys are smart. I don't know why you feel the need to cheat," Miley said to the twins. "We're just up for the challenge," Fred winked and she sighed.
They had written exams and some practical exams as well.
Quirell was still stuttering every time he glanced at Miley or Harry.
Miley only had the nightmare about the screams, the green light, and the high-pitched laugh once or twice. She didn't know who to tell about them so she kept them to herself. She thought if Harry had them they could approach Dumbledore together but for now, she kept quiet about them.

"I wish I knew what this meant!" Harry said angrily. He was rubbing his scar. Miley and the twins finished their last exams which were Divination.
"I had to make it all up," Fred said to her. The three of them knew they were going to fail that class but didn't care.
Professor Trelwayn was obsessed with talking to Miley about her brother. She kept saying nonsense about how he had death omens around him that she snapped at her a few classes ago. Somehow she didn't get into any trouble but got pitiful looks from the professor which made her even angrier.
She and the twins decided not to tell Harry about her though.
"You should go to Madam Pomfrey," George said.
"I don't know... it feels like a warning or a bad sign," Harry replied.
"Relax. The exams are done and we know the stone is safe with Dumbledore around," Ron answered.
Harry and Miley were quiet but jumped up at the same time.
"Wait-" Miley said.
"Hagrid?" Harry asked at the same time.
"Yes!" Miley said already knowing they were thinking the same thing.
They rushed off the Hagrid's hut leaving the others confused.
"Wait for us!" Fred said. Miley and Harry slowed down a little and waited for the Weasleys and Hermione to catch up.
"Why are we-" George asked.
"It's a bit odd that Hagrid randomly won a dragon egg at the pub- they're rare- and illegal to own without permission," Miley interrupted wasting no time.
The others thought about it then agreed.
"And it's odd that they know what Hagrid wants more than anything too. How many people wander around with dragon eggs if it's against wizard law? Lucky they found Hagrid, don't you think? Why didn't I see it before?" Harry added.
The crew thought about that for a while then agreed.
Hagrid was sitting in an armchair outside his house; his trousers and sleeves were rolled up, and he was shelling peas into a large bowl. "Hullo," he said, smiling. "Finished yer exams? Got time fer a drink?"
Ron and the twins nodded.
"We can't stay here for a long time," Harry said.
"Hagrid- did you see who the person who offered you the egg was?" Miley said.
