When the love becomes conditional,
it lashes out before you can even see it.
It reaches out to stab you and patch you all up in one sitting
before you can even realize you're bleeding.
It's speaks in soft words that are cloaked with dark meanings.
And when you don't do what is told,
you are left out in the cold.
Hungry and alone.
Waiting for someone, anyone, to save you.
