Shuichi's POV:

"Haha yeah we should totally try that next time!.... No way— or maybe a Panta power vehicle !! No nevermind, I wouldn't want to waste my precious Panta. Let's use your Boba Tea instead!" I sighed as I heard Kokichi loudly talking on the phone as I did the dishes.

"Kokichi quiet down or else the neighbors will hear you!", I exclaimed but he didn't answer back and just walked past me. He did just... ignore me?

It's been a few days since we started our fall break and surprisingly it's been pretty great. I mean we have no homework, I've visited my family, I've gotten more sleep..... Well barely, I haven't been able to sleep with Kokichi calling Y/n 24/7.

Ever since Kokichi and I went to the park, talking to Y/n has been like his daily routine or something. It was so weird how it happened. It all started during the break when Kokichi and I came back from the store.

Flashback

"Shumaiiii hold my groceries!!", Kokichi groaned as I shook my head. "No Kokichi, I already have some in my hands." "WAAHHHHHH!!! Shumai you're such a bully!!!" "Kokichi, you're gonna make a scene..."

Just as I was trying to stop Kokichi from crying, I heard a voice from behind me. "Shuichi, Kokichi.... is that you?" I quickly turned around to see a h/c haired girl. "Y/n!!", Kokichi exclaimed as he jumped onto the girl. I watched as Y/n dropped her phone as they both fell to the floor.

"K-Kokichi!!" I quickly picked up her phone but just as I picked it up, Y/n quickly snatched it away from me. I raised an eyebrow as I took a good look at the phone.

"Y/n... I didn't know you got a new phone...", I suspiciously spoke as we all look at the phone. "Why did you get a new phone?", I asked as Y/n nervously scratched the back of her head. "It kinda broke so I had to get a new one."

Suddenly Kokichi quickly swiped away her phone from her hands. "Ooooo a new brand too?" "Y-Yeah.... I also got a new number, we should exchange!" "Good idea!!" We all exchanged numbers and decided to walk together around the park.

"The panels were sure something. I cant believe they asked such weird questions!" "Haha I know right!!" I watched as they both walked around together.

I honestly felt like a third wheel but more than that, I was suspicious of Y/n. None the less, I didn't do anything and in the end, we ended up splitting ways and going home.

Flashback ended

Everything that day seemed way too sudden. It was like she just popped out of the blue. I checked up on Tenko and she's now just pretending she doesn't remember anything on that day. I know Y/n hiding something, but what could it be?

Just as I was drying my hands and thinking, I felt my body being tackled to the ground. "Ack— Kokichi what's the matter with you!??" "She asked me out!!"

I think my mind went blank for a second just as Kokichi said that because all my reaction was to that statement was a blank face.

".....Say what?...." "Out me asked she!!", Kokichi said as he shook my confused body. "Wh-What!? I have no idea what you're saying!!" "She asked me out!!", Kokichi exclaimed as he finally stopped shaking me as I laid on the floor dizzy.

"She asked me out Shumai!! I got a date before you", Kokichi teased as I still laid there on the floor. "Oh come, not gonna say anything?"

I groan as I slowly lifted myself rom the floor. "Wait if she asked you out, doesn't that mean you guys are official?" "Well not exactly, she invited me to go to the mall with her. And apparently it's only me and her so you can't go nishishishi", Kokichi laughed as I sighed.
