Heartless || Seongjoong [ Seonghwa × Hongjoong ]

Chapter 11 - Bye

As usual, they go to school but today is quite different. Hongjoong is in the Principal's room after recess. He goes there if he has some work to do. But today's event is unusual.

"Hongjoong." the principal said making Hongjoong feel quite nervous. "Yes, Mr. Principal," Hongjoong replied. "You have been a good student. You do your work perfectly. I'm sorry to tell you this but you will be out of school for 2 months." the principal said and Hongjoong's eyes widened. "It's because your family has some issues that need to be clear. And they didn't want me to tell you why. You will be sitting at Mr. Kang's house for now. He agreed to help you since he likes you." the principal stopped for a bit. Hongjoong didn't know anything to do or to react. He stays still and hears the principal statement. "The cause that you can't go to school is your parent doesn't want you to go. I don't know why. But that is the reason." the principal said making Hongjoong sigh.

He knows that his father has some issues with a lot of police. And for his mother, he knows that she is drinking. Like a lot. He doesn't know what to say or do.

"But what about my sister," Hongjoong asks. "She will be staying at your grandmother's house." the principal stated and Hongjoong nodded knowing that their grandmother's house was on the other side of the country.

Hongjoong P.O.V

I get in the class and go to my seat. I try to keep my straight face as usual. But it didn't work.

"Hey, Hongjoong what did the principal ask?" Wooyoung asked me. I don't want to answer so I keep quiet for a while. "Please tell us," Seonghwa said as he clings at me. 'Cute' I thought. "I will not be in school for 2 months," I said mumbling to myself. "What did you say?" Seonghwa asked me. "He says he will not be in school for 2 months," Wooyoung said trying not to react. I nod a little making Seonghwa clings to me more. "Don't leave. I don't want you to leave." Seonghwa said holding back his tears. "I'm sorry I don't know what my parents did his time until they didn't want me to go to school," I said as I stared down the floor. I can feel the two of them looking at me. "How about we go to a store and buy a plushie? My treat." I said and they hugged me. I try to squirm out but they still hug me.

We wait for the others in front of the school gate. We chat for a while and I notice Seonghwa become more clingy to me. I like it. Wait what am I thinking? I don't want the same thing that happened to San, will be Seonghwa's. 

"Hey, ready to get back," San said as he jumped at Wooyoung's back. "Well, Hongjoong has been planning to bring us somewhere," Seonghwa said hugging my hand. I ask them to keep it for a while.

After all of us had gathered together, we started to walk there.

"Now we are here, you guys can pick any plushie that you want. My treat." I said making them all get into the shop.

"Hey, Hongjoong I'm done," Seonghwa said while holding toothless and white fury the character in How to Train Your Dragon. I smile at him. "You must take this." he points at a minion plushie. He's the only one who knows I love minions. "Never mind I have some at home," I said. "As you say," he said.

All of them have picked their plushie. Yunho picks a dog plushie that looks like him. That is what he said. Yeosang picks a hehetmon. San picks a Shiba dog plushie and names it Shiber. Wooyoung picks a bear plushie and names it San. I don't know why but yeah. And for Jongho he doesn't pick anything and beg me for food. It was a mess but still, I took all of them to a food court.

"The food is delicious," Jongho said while chewing the last chicken that he steals from Yeosang. And yes Yeosang is mad. "For what reason are you doing this?" Yunho asked me. I sigh. "I will be out of school for 2 months." I aid and all of them stop what they are doing and hug me. "Don't worry we'll visit you," Mingi said patting my back.
"Thank you, guys," I said.
