African is NOT a language. Africans are they people in AFRICA, this doesn't mean we speak African, Africa is a continent but on the other hand Afrikaans is a language in South Africa. Okay let's put this in the context for you to clearly understand this. Do you ask someone from a country in Asia if they speak Asian? Or do you ask someone from a country in Europe, if they speak European? NO so stop asking if we speak AFRICAN
