Heyyyy! I wrote this one about Ethan having a hurt/sore shoulder from pitching too much. It's an Ethan & Family fluff. No apocolypse. I do not own dangerous fellows, just this idea. Hope y'all enjoy! <3

Ethan winced a little but still tried to stretch his arm out a little. His shoulder was sore. It was a result of him playing baseball. He tried not to let it bother him normally and just went along with it because he knew it would go away soon. He stretched his arm behind him and rested his hands on the couch.  He didn't want to bother anyone though, so he just watched his little brother play his game.  Eventually though he couldn't ignore it anymore and he started massaging it to try and get rid of the ache. His little brother looked over at him when he moved,  and upon seeing what he was doing he slid his headset around his neck. "Ethan, are you okay?"
The older boy nodded in response, continuing to massage his arm. Miles took him at his word and went back to his game and before long his mom walked into the door of the house with his youngest sister. The two had gone grocery shopping. "Bienvenida a casa." Ethan spoke up, standing from the couch. "Gracias Ethan. Would you mind helping me with groceries?" The violet haired boy nodded. "sure." He went out to the garage where his mother's car was parked and began grabbing groceries out of it and his little brother joined him a second later.  They worked together to carry things into the house. For a little bit Ethan's pain went away at the sight of his family. He had missed them. His dad was probably still at work but he would be home in a little while too, so Ethan spent his time helping his mother put away the groceries and figure out what they were going to have for dinner. His mom must have been feeling tired because she chose an easy choice of enchiladas. So Ethan left out a pack of hamburger meat and put all the rest of things away.  He looked down at his little sister when she tugged on his pant leg before bending to pick her up.  "what's the matter, les huh?  You miss me?" he couldn't help but give her head a kiss. Going back to sorting the groceries with his unoccupied arm that was slowly becoming sore again while he held Leslie in the other. He tried to ignore it again. After a little while everything was put away from Esmerelda's shopping trip and Ethan returned to the couch with Leslie this time. Talking quietly and playing around with her. Fun little games like peekaboo and lightly tickling her as well as making his hand into a llama, which she loved and always tried to catch his hand. Eventually it escalated into Ethan holding her above him and her pretending she was flying. He quickly and carefully ended up setting her down into his brother's lap though when his arm painfully throbbed. He grabbed it with a small wince.  Leslie being the smart baby that she was, looked at her brother in concern and miles called for their mom, as if knowing that Ethan probably wouldn't. Esmerelda rushed into the room, trying to figure out what could be wrong since it was rare for her kids to call her like that and she saw Ethan holding his arm in pain. "Oh no,  Ethan what's the matter mi amor?" He didn't want to say anything but he wouldn't blame Miles for being worried. Usually he was pretty good at hiding it and just had his baseball coach tape it for him if it got too bad.  He wasn't really injured or anything, the muscle in his shoulder just gave him fits if he used it too much.  He tried to play it off.  "It's nothing mama. My shoulder just kind of hurts,  I'm fine." He didn't want to be seen as weak. That was why he had worked out so much and gotten stronger. He could handle his arm hurting without burdening his family. Esmerelda gently bonked his head and then kneeled in front of her son so she was more eye level with him before speaking. "Just because you are the oldest doesn't mean you can't rely on us. I, as your mother, am here to take care of all of my bebe's. You may have bigger responsibilities but that doesn't mean you can't rely on us in a time of need. There's no shame in asking me, your father, or even your brother and sister, when she's older,  for some help once in awhile. Now let's try this again. What is the matter with your shoulder mi amor?" Ethan was taken aback by her words. She was right of course, he could always rely on his family. Out of his three best friends, Ethan's family was the most stable but that's not what his mother was getting at. She always could deliver exactly what needed to be heard like that. Gentle yet stern. She always knew what to say.  "It hurts really bad..  It happens sometimes. Normally right after practice is when it's the worst and the coach will wrap it for me.." he explained quietly.  "Have you been practising a lot here?" Ethan took a moment to think before answering. "I mean.. Yeah. There's a game Friday night." Esmerelda nodded in response before standing up and getting Ethan to come with her with the request that Miles watched his sister for a moment. Ethan followed his mother upstairs and went to his room to change into a sleeveless shirt while his mother went to the bathroom to grab some things. Her husband Adam and her had laid down some house rules for their boys especially. Clothes were a must. Even shirts.  Just because they were boys didn't excuse them to go around shirtless in the house. His mother returned to his room with some wrap and tape. "We'll also put some ice over it after this for a while. I know baseball is important to you bebe, but if you keep going around with it sore like this then something could tear and then it would only be worse for you. We don't need that. If you need me to ask Shira for something to help I can do that too. We're all here for you, understand?" Ethan nodded. "Understood. Thank you mama." She smiled Sweetly. "You're welcome darling
